Many custom tiles don't appear to support texture swapping in the tile properties. Their floor/wall/ceiling textures are fixed to some default texture and regardless of what you swap them to, the texture remains the same. I suspect this may be because the capability came after the content was produced.
Does anyone know what controls this and how a tile can be reconfigured to support floor/wall/ceiling texture swapping? I'm not talking about adding textures to the 2das, but rather allowing the various textures to actually be seen on a tile in the toolset and game.
Thanks.

HF knows of course, I discussed this with him on irc at some point. Ultimately you generally need to produce a texture specific to the tileset, textures designed for a different tileset generally look like crap. And even when they might look right and display in toolset, they can fail miserably ingame (as anyone who experienced the sarrukh neon beach interior from PoE can attest.
At one point I considered making a chart of tileset/texture compatibility, never got around to it.

I know exactly what you're referring to, Kamal. But do you know what the technical issue is in the first place? What allows a tile to swap its textures - or rather - how it is enabled?

it's very well documented right here: www.rwscreations.com/RWSForum/viewtopic.php
you only need to alter some 2da. it's nothing complex
