Free stuff is nice and all but these items aren't very good stat-wise. The additional coin drop property you already get from rune of fortune stacking.

Ah well I guess you get what you pay for.

Plus the two item packs render the in-game purchases pretty useless since all our best equipment come from looting and DLCs. All you really need to worry about is your potions and traps.

Hey guys!

The Dragon Age II development team created two bonus items to say thank you to everyone who purchased all three DLC expansions!

To claim this reward you must unlock at least one Xbox 360/PC achievement or PS3 Trophy from “Exiled Prince”, “Legacy”, and “Mark of the Assassin”. Please go here to unlock the High Lord's Belt and the Pendant of the Morning Frost.

Your support and feedback really helped shape these DLC expansions! Thank you again for your loyalty.

I should go.

That would be great if I could activate my online profile for DA2, but I can't.  Every time I click on the link, it just reloads the same page again.

I've tried it with the game logged in, with the game not running, and so on, just about every way I can try, and it always does the same thing.

Ok, so before I go wading through tech support any chance I could get a bioware response on this.
I have all the needed DLCs, on both PC and PS3. I have the entitlements for both items enabled on my bioware/ea account (again for both PC and PS3). I have all the required achievements unlocked on PC but NOT PS3 (my main playthrough is on PC). Do I *really* have to unlock all the achievements on PS3 as well before the content already present in my bioware entitlements list will show up within my PS3 games? (if this is indeed the case then there's no tech issue, just a poor implementation choice, otherwise I need to open a tech ticket, but since my last ea 'support' experience drug on literally for *months* I wanted to try this first).

I shouldn't think so. Go to your Registered Game Content page here on the social network and have a look at what's been enabled. I only have the PC version of DA2 and the DLCs but the PS3 and the Xbox versions of the two items (as well as other things) are unlocked. While I can't say for certain, I'd presume that because you are elible on one plactform, they should unlock for all platforms. Basically anything I paid for is for the PC only. Free stuff is for all three platforms.

Traps would indeed be nice for my rogue!

On a serious note, those items will be usefull during Act 1 and maybe Act 2 before you find better stuff - but they will give a small boost so thanks Bioware.

Anyways, when will we see more DLCs and better yet - a proper expansion like Awakening!

I would've sworn there was a support thread about this somewhere, but now I can't find it. I can't get the bonus items to unlock. Keeps telling me it unable to verify I have the dlc. I've tried everything to get my profile to update with no luck. I've played, saved played saved checked the site, with and without the game running in the back ground. (Yes, I know it can take up to an hour. I've been trying to get it to update for a couple days now.) If anyone has a trick to get this to update so the items will unlock for me beyond saving, playing, checking, and hopping on one leg under a full moon while sacrificing a chicken, I would be grateful.

I had that too, and then I remembered that I was starting the game with the dev console command line. Started up the game regularly and my profile updated with the neccessary achievements, unlocking the DLC...

Thanks for the response :)

I do indeed have all the permissions enabled for both (well all three including xBox 360) PC and PS3 versions the new items simply aren't showing up in the uncrackables section when I boot up the PS3 version of the game.  I'm most interested in it because my PS3 playthroughs are earlier in the game so they're where the items would be most actual use (unless/until I start a new playthrough).  Maybe I will have to go and prod EA support... man I wish bioware still did their own tech support  :?  or at least that EA localized their support to the language of the region the support ticket came from  ah well.

On the PS3 at least, the items don't actually appear in the 'Unlockables' section on the main menu (neither did the Deep Green), but they are in the chests in game. Just thought I'd check whether you were logging into your game or just checking the menu. I made this mistake with the last item. :)

Yeah, me too.  It's sad, because all the DLC packs are listed on My Content page, too. :(

Wait, all your DLCs are listed in your content page? None of my DA2 DLCs shown up. I use xbox, and got them through live marketplace. I can play them without an issue, but just not listed on my registered game content page. Is yours on xbox too or PC/PS3?

Look, I don't want to criticize because I don't exactly know what goes into creating items for DA2. I suspect it is a simple matter of opening a tool set, selecting "Create New Item" then using a drop-down menu to select the type and then again to add stats and a name. Is it really more than 5 or 10 minutes of work? Am I wrong? Is there more to it then that?

Anyway, thank you for the free items. They are not particularly useful past leve 5 or so and pushing them as a "thank you" for spending over $20 on DLC seems... well, free is free I guess, but the truth is that they did not encourage me to turn on my xbox to play DA2 again. Once I got Skyrim, I haven't had ANY motivation to replay the same unchangeable DA2 linear story game again.

Maybe if it was a new unique armour set that showed some effort and recognition of the time and money spent by the customers as a real thank you, but again, that's just how I feel. Others seem to be ecstatic.

You're a sad person. Pretty sure even if Bioware gives you a free suit of armor with god-mode stats, you'll still complain.

This seems odd. The way it's worded sort of makes it sound like it's the end of the road for DA2. On the other hand it could just be an attempt to get people to start playing again.
