one would assume go to swtor.com and register " if they have not" and see if there is a place in the account settings to redeem a key then wait for a confirmation email....
Im not much help, I got my invite via email before that had hotlinks to confirm and such never had to use a key.
Pretty much this. I edeemed my key already, and am now waiting for instrucions on how to download the beta.

Can we please not be forced to have the same password for everything connected anymore? I had a different password for BSN and one for the official site for TOR. Because of updating info on that site for TOR I now have to use the same password for this site. I also think that it's reasonable to believe that the same thing will go for my log-ins to DA:O, DA2, and ME2.
I honestly hate when companies do this. Google did it with youtube and I preferred staying logged in on youtube and having my email separate from my youtube account. Ironically enough, after I was forced to link my gmail account to youtube there was suspicious behavior on my gmail account.
I like keeping stuff separate because it means anyone who pathetically wants to have their fun at someone else's expense has to work that much harder to do so.

My computer can handle this game. I looked at my specs there are a few areas that my comp blows this games specs out of the water. Still wondering if I should do it or just give the code away. I know someone who would love this code...

They may need your address to sue you, in case you breach a non-disclosure-agreement or something similar.Bogsnot1 wrote...
I am curious as to why my address and phone number are "required information" if I'm not being shipped any physical product, and its being distributed digitally.
As for the phone number i don't know why it is asked.

Before I redeem the code I need to know if the beta is region restricted, I live in central america so I would like to know if I can actually participate in the beta even if im not from the US
No. I don't think it's region restricted. Invites have been sent around the world, or so I here:
What if I do not live in a launch country for Star Wars: The Old Republic?
As long as you are signed up and opted in for testing, you will be invited to test in the upcoming Beta Testing Weekend. ( SWTOR FAQ)
