Liara saved Shepard from the collectors.
She actually goes out of her way to know what really happened to Shepard. When noone else does. That far more than Tali does for Shepard.
I need help, Liara Or Tali.

Liara actually did something FOR Shepard. Tali never did anything for Shepard.
From a story point of view her romance makes the most sense.

I think that both Liara and Tali are both good characters worthy of romancing, and even if you don't like one or the other, you don't need to insult them in order to try and put your favourite above. *looks darkly at others in this thread who have done just that*

Either go through each romance for your own experience and make that influence your decision or go off what other fans say because their LI is obviously the best choice, lol. If you really can't decide and want both, than I don't know, try romancing Liara in the first game and then romancing Tali in the second, see what happens in the third.
