Seriously, I better be able to play as a Turian Vanguard or else....
You can't.
This thread is getting a bit ridiculous. We know what the possible combinations are. They were leaked.
It would be nice if people started acknowledging that fact and decided from now what they'd like to play as. Better to accept it now than to complain in a few months when we find out something we already know.
NO QUARIAN BIOTICS
NO TURIAN INFILTRATORS
NO TURIAN OR KROGAN VANGUARDS
Because there's just no way BioWare would ever change their minds on some things due to fan reactions from a leak. Personally, I could totally seeing them design the class selection for races like so:
Humans get all six classes.
Asari, Drell, and Krogan get Soldier, Adept, Vanguard, and Sentinel.
Salarian, Quarian, and Turian get Soldier, Engineer, Infiltrator, and Sentinel.
Everyone gets Soldier, because it's not hard to pick up a gun and start shooting people, biotic classes go to the races that so-far specialize in biotics. Biotics are supposed to be very rare to the Salarians, Quarians, and Turians, so they get the tech classes. Everyone gets Sentinel, because every race qualifies for the class at least halfway (Turians can be Sentinels because of their tech skills, while Asari can be Sentinels because of their biotic skills). This would probably be the best way to sort out the classes while still keeping to what we know as canon.
Of course, this doesn't take into account any possible bonus powers, which sometimes don't make any sense on their own (an Engineer knowing Reave, for example).

It makes perfect sense:
Mass Effect Fields.
See what I did there?

Reave is a biotic skill, though, and Engineers focus on tech, not biotics (if they even can at all), but that's getting off topic.

^Exactly.
I'm a complete sucker for saying this, but I'd pay for DLC to make some of the major ME characters playable in MP rather than just generic quarian/turian/krogan (etc.).
Say for example, imagine playing as Garrus. Then again that does kinda contradict the whole idea of the SP being Shepard's (and squaddies) war whereas GaW is the larger scale mooks fighting mooks business.

Its not likely they're going to change it. If you saw how it was set up, you'd realize that this was a well thought out system with purpose and a lot of planning.
They made it so that your ability set was determined by your species choice. Every option only gets 3 powers and only those 3 powers which are determined solely by your species and class. There are no bonus powers. With 4 species/gender options per class, you get a variety of skill sets that can be determined at a glance.
If you end up in a matchmaking lobby with a Quarian Engineer you know exactly what that player is bringing to the fight in terms of powers. If you end up with a Krogan Sentinel, you know what you can expect that squadmate to do. It also encourages variety. If you could just play as most species/class/power combos, some would end up being much more prevalent than others.
There's a reason they designed it like this. It wasn't just because they decided "Lets make the species choices really restricted". They did it with purpose.

While I can agree with that logical conclusion, wanting your allies to know at a glance what kind of skills you bring to a particular fight, it still feels restrictive.
Lets say, just for the sake of argument (and I don't know if they actually do, I've not seen the leak itself), that an Asari Adept was the only possible race/class combination with Stasis and Warp together. If you wanted to be able to provide both abilities for your groups, you would be forced into always playing an Asari Adept, even if you may have really wanted to play as a Drell and don't like the Asari.

That seems to be what they did. Overall, the avatar you play as has little effect on anything.
A) You can't even see the human's faces
C) The models were the most generic example of each race
They're just skins. If you want Stasis, Warp and Singularity (hypothetically) you'd have to accept that it came with a blue alien skin instead of a generic Thane knock-off or a faceless human in an ME2 Death Mask (which I think was the Adept helmet model if I remember correctly).

^This still hoping for to play as Geth, but i'll be happy with Drell, Krogan, Turian, Salarian and mabye human

I'm interested to see how Soldier's Adrenalin Rush power will work in multiplayer before I consider it, the time delay it cause might be hard to deal with, but for now a human male vanguard sounds nice.
Time dilation isn't in multiplayer at all.
If you saw some of the multiplayer gameplay when the demo was leaked, a guy playing a vanguard when using charged just zoomed right up to an enemy rather than in ME2's SP where time slows down.
Though imagine how infuriating vanguards would be in versus MP, lol, a player just running around, gets charged and staggered and then shotgunned to the face getting insta-killed
