At this stage it should be clear, BioWare, please tell us that he's reprising his role.

I'll be very pissy if he doesn't reprise his role tbqh. While Meer's Mordin was surprisingly good an imitation... it's just not the real deal! =(

I'm pretty sure he'll come back in fact I wouldn't be surprise if he has already signed a contract by now.

i hope too they're using Mordin's original voice actor.

imagine some other character with a different voice, they wouldn't be the same anymore.

Actually for most games the VA recordings are one of the very last things they do. There's still plenty of time for him to do it although if they end up choosing someone else I won't be too mad just somewhat indifferent. I mean it's not like they're replacing a unique voice like Wrex, Thane, etc. Hell even Jim Cummings does Wreav as the alternative and he's amazing.

I saw a clip of some leaked footage a couple of weeks ago, and it certainly sounded like the original actor.

The beta wasn't even fully voiced.  A lot of Mordin's dialogue was generic, male text-to-speech.  The rest wasn't even pitch-shifted for the most part, so you'd have to compare it to Beattie's natural sound.

Actually, the non-pitch-shifted stuff sounded a lot like Mordin, so I wouldn't be surprised if Beattie's back.

Since they haven't swapped voice actors for other characters, I don't see why it would be any different for Mordin.
