I'm not familiar with that graphics card, I got an Nvidia Gforce 9600 GT. Anyone know how they compare, cause his sounds pretty cool.
It's quite good, but not the best. Faster than 9600GT, that's for sure.
Seriously... console vs. PC flame war again? Grow up...
you get what you pay for. A $700 gaming rig will blow any console out of sky. and since everyone needs a computer anyhow, I don't see a point of owning a crappy console
and a crappy computer.
Now, BioWare
will not make any effort to improve the graphics. The most popular console players' excuse is that the engine doesn't support DX11, but that's BS, The Witcher 2 doesn't have DX11 and still looks awesome. Consistent graphics, as someone mentioned - EVERYTHING is hi-res, not just the faces.
You've gotta understand, BioWare developers are in fact in love with crappy electronics. Casey Hudson, Preston Watamaniuk, Chris Priestly, etc. - they all play on Xbox and use iPhones/iPads, 'cause they don't know any better. FFS, when BF3 came out, they all tweeted how cool the game was... and they played it on cosoles!

It's a real shame, since these guys definitely have the cash for 6-monitor triple-GPU killer setup (so the stupid "PC gaming is expensive" excuse is irrelevant here!), but they're just too limited in their understanding of gaming. It's sad, but it's true. They will keep using an excuse of how they've focused on gameplay and storyline instead of graphics...
... but anyone who's played Witcher 2 will know how FOS they are. Good visuals never hurt the game; on the contrary, they enhance the experience. And making a hi-res texture pack has never impacted anything. It's actually the only thing ME needs to shine on the PC, the rest of the graphics are quite fine. There's NO excuse for not making a hi-res pack.
I'd rather have good graphics than multiplayer, that's for sure!
