Hello,
I wonder if anyone has experienced & solved this problem:
I have installed DAII and when I initially started it up, it asked me to download an update, which I did.
Now when I start it up, I am asked to activate the game, and an EA branded "Dragon Age II Activation" application starts up. When I provide the email address and password that I use to log into this forum, and where I have registered the game with no problems, a "validating" screen with some keys comes up, and then I am told that DAII could not be activated with the account I provided. So then I am asked to enter a Product Key.
When I click the button to "Enter Product Key", both the EA activation application and Dragon Age II quit on me. I see an error saying that I need to update both the game and my OS to the latest version, and to contact the developer to sort it out.
I have tried reinstalling DAII and not done the update, and tried to activate the game immediately, but I still got the same problem.
I am running Mac OS 10.6.8 on a 2.4GHz Intel Core MacBook Pro, and can play Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition without (too many) problems, just some crashes here and there. I was certainly able to install it without these activation issues.
Any ideas...?
Feedback much appreciated!

I am running Mac OS 10.7.2 and have exactly the same problem since some weeks.
I had 3 support tickets so far and also live chatted with an EA employee but nobody has solved this issue until now.
Officially this seems to be no problem for Bioware or EA... it is only a problem of a few customers that have paid for nothing. It seems ti be our own fault because we do not use Windows.

I was able to solve this problem by creating a new EA account at the EA activation screen. I then pasted my activation code into the activation screen and everything worked. After successful activation, I used my existing Bioware account to login to DA2 servers so that my profiles stay unified.
