Do not let america censor the internet. The applications that people build over the internet, contribute and make it grow. When vinton cerf and Bob khan were building this mass network they never realized it would go beyond their expectations. Internet is great but what is greater is the freedom that we have on it. Restrictions that we have on the internet will snatch our freedom away and instead of the internet feeling democratic over communication it feels more like a military dictatorship. Each byte is now constituted like a police state. Singing along to a song on youtube? well too bad cause if this internet censorship bill passes companies will take up legal action.
As a network administrator/programmer this affects me horribly. The internet architecture is so beautiful, so amazing. It is glamarous. If this bill passes, they are reducing the realibility of the system. Remember when libya and egypt rebelled? One of the prime tools used was the Internet.
