Well didn't Jack say she kept her head bald , because she was either in some space gang or cult thing.I'm guessing after helping save the galaxy , she decided it was a second chance to start fresh.

I think Jack changing is a lot better of an idea than Ashley changing. As a person Jack has grown a lot. So long as she is still identifiable as Jack, having her appearance change, to an extent, is a good thing. She should be edgy in a punkish sort of way, but should have some hair and more clothes.

As for Ashley, I don't mind it if her hair is down when off duty. When on duty she should stick with the bun. That is her, it looks better and there isn't a reason to change it.
