Ah. Well things will make sence in the end, but still really? An android controlled by EDI who is a squad member? That is something I did not expect but I'm done raging about and are ready to await its introduction.....They did say tthey'll be adding more humour to ME3 after all.

$5 says EDI is gonna be an Engineer. She's built for hacking and no synthetic body could produce biotics, so... huh...

I guess EDI is our Legion replacement?

EDI will probably have the skill-sets of Garrus/Kasumi. Tech+Weapons. Given her physical capabilities, I hope she isn't restricted to pee-shooter weapons.

About builds: we have Tank, Engineer (against synthetics), Adept (Crowd Control) and Sniper covered. There are two newbies with undefined class: EDI and Prothy. One of them will likely go Engineer (against organics, with Incinerate, Cryo Blast and Neural Shock) and another - Sentinel (Kaidan is rather popular candidate to get virmired and Miranda is temporary). My guess for EDI as engineer and Prothy as Sentinel.

I'd prefer Joker plugging into EDI's outlet than using her as a fembot squadmate. The fact that its the dorkiest fetish come to life is nothing compared to the fact that its just plain stupid. That, the prothean, and the douche soldier proves that Bioware shouldn't have added any squadmates to this game. They had more than enough already.

Well, these new squad mates sound very interesting. I think I'm more interested in Prothy than EDI as a squad mate though. I will miss my krogan squad member though, I always chose Wrex/Grunt and Tali to go on missions with me since they fit my Vanguard class so well.

QFT. I can handle if she is a squadmate I have accepted it. Though I think that spot could of been used for a ME2 squadmate or Wrex, I found EDI boring. But the romance... Just... I am lost for words, so I'll let my good friend Sten do the talking for me.

Honestly I would've preferred *anyone* from ME2 even Jack (and I can't stand Jack) be a squaddie over her. At least then ME2 wouldn't feel completely relegated to background noise.

And yeah Sten's reaction is pretty much how I feel.

It is a talk between Joker and Mordin, similar to the sex tips Shepard can get from Mordin in ME2.
There is also dialog of EDI asking Shepard for dating advice
