To everyone that's getting the Collector's Edition, or even to those who aren't, surely the question of "who is the classified character" is pretty big. I REALLY want to know, since I am getting the Collector's Edition, and I REALLY can't wait.

I think it's going to be someone from the past games. It must be. It would be a lot more exciting if they did. I'm thinking either Grunt, Samara/Morinth or Kasumi. If not, maybe Kal'Reegar?

What do you guys think?

The original CE announcement said it was a Prothean, but then BioWare decided that was a "rumor" and replaced it with "an additional character and mission." I'm 100% sure it's a Prothean, and I did not read the spoilers. It's just simple logic.

if the leaks are correct, no its not the prothean.

according to the leak - the prothean is integral to the main plot.  DLC characters do not drive the plot, they only marginaly add to it, so prothean seems to have graduated to regular game character and who the DLC character is - currently unknown.

I would be extremely happy to get a Batarian squaddie. But since Batarians are mostly despised (not to say hated) by the players am not sure whether Bioware would like to explore the race and spend time/efforts on making a likeable Batarian squaddie. Guess some female N7 operative is more likely, meh.

Though some mild ME3 spoilers and the fact that Legion was included in ME2 (and became one of the fan favourites) give me hope.

I recall those rumors about a human female Infiltrator.... I think that's about who we'll get. Fine with me, I like and prefer human characters.
I also wouldn't mind a batarian, but perhaps they think too many people hate them and the DLC wouldn't sell well.
