How is Leliana's revival (if you killed her) a retcon?

Death animnation is irrelevant.
It's a game-engine thing.

Strictly speaking, there is no hard confirmation of her death. Period.

Aside from the codex stating her death, the game coding that states she's dead once The Warden kills her, and the developers who admit she died. Besides, all that...

Well, aparently the developers say she's alive.

Game coding is a varible, nothing more.

Codex is not omniscent, 100% truthfull.

Sorry to burst your bubbles.

The developers also said her death and resurrection would be explained, and acknowlege that The Warden killed her in the ruins of the temple.

It's evidence that Leliana was flagged as dead when The Warden killed her.

It addresses what transpired, per the codex: "When The Warden corrupted and destroyed the Sacred Ashes of Andraste, Leliana drew her weapon and was killed alongside the guardian."

Considering you haven't done anything to disprove that it's a recton, you have nothing to apologize for.

She was never really dead is an explanation.

No, it's evidence that they named a variable "leliana_dead".
I script myself and flag names are just that - names that are easy to remember, but their true purpose is known only to the creator. I've seen (and used myself) flag names that will give someone a completely wrong idea.

Again, what the Warden thinks happened.

Developers like Gaider already conceded that she was dead, and that her ressurection would be explained. It's also not evidence that it's not a recton when we have the codex and the game coding stating that Leliana is now dead. You're basically arguing that one type of recton means it's not a recton, but that simply makes no sense at all. Leliana died if The Warden killed her. Whether Leliana's death is explained away as a ressurection or an utter handwave of her demise doesn't change that it's retroactive continuinity of what was previously established.

In addition to Leliana being a corpse and the codex stating her death, it's additional evidence that Leliana was killed in the narrative.

The idea that The Warden wouldn't know whether Leliana was dead or not is more than a little ridiculous.

Leliana isn't dead. Period.

You can continue to argue untill the cows come home, but you got nothing really.

You harp on a varialbe name as proof, but as pointed out previously - it's not.
And in narrative, being left for dead or thought dead is standard procedure.

"But my Warden would check!" - No. Only if the devs specificly allowed him to.
They didn't and he didn't.

I have nothing but facts, while you argue that the facts should be ignored because you say so.

Well, she's not dead now. But it doesn't mean she never died at all.

Blood Magic.

Leliana was revived as a Zombie. And now she has Zombie AIDS. The Inquisitor who romance her will catch said AIDS and slowly Zombify as well.

The developers acknowledge that Leliana was dead, and that her coming back to life will be explained in the future, so I'm not sure why you're so insistent that Leliana didn't die.

YES! THIS! It all makes sense now!
"Enchantment" = "I am the harbinger of your destruction"
You ser, are my hero. XD

Maybe Leliana has an identical twin sister!

If BioWare comes up with an explanation for this, then I'll be okay, if they simply decided to diregard my choices in Origins, it's not okay.
It's sort of like how everyone started freaking out when they saw Anders, saying things like, "But he died in Awakening" or "I never recruited him". The former can be easily explained - the epilogues tend to consist of rumors, so it was not a solid fact that Anders died. The latter is, yet again, another case (albeit, far less difficult to explain) of: is there an explanation for this, or did BioWare decide to ignore my previous decisions?
Personally, I hope that BioWare has explanations. For Anders, I figure that maybe he was recruited by another Warden? He's just that lucky? ...or unlucky, depending on how you look at it, I guess.
