Aright so I've heard there will be some npc LI's in ME3. I'm guessing based off of that part on Illium that shiala will probably make the cut. I'm trying to make a final playthrough to import to ME3, but I'm not sure if I should just ditch liara in ME2 in good faith, or stick it out and see what the deal is with LI's in ME3 first. thoughts?

You should wait...we don't even know if Shiala will appear in Mass Effect 3

Or s/he doesn´t own ME1 or is a PS3 player (I think besides Genesis comic choices it defaults to the ME2 renegade idiot Shepard).

Between the two I'd take Shiala. I don't trust the mental status of a person who would turn over a friend (well, anything from lover to someone who barely tolerates them) to a shady group (that said friend likely has a grudge against at that point) to be brought back to life.

Shiala, I pretty much go the route of a Paragade. I made a concious decision to let her live just in the off chance Shepard might get the opportunity to" tap that" in the future (ME2), if the opportunity presented itself ofcourse. Besides she already established that she was FREE of Sovreign's indoctrunation. I can't have been the only one thinking she was the hottest Asari to grace the screen up until Samara was introduced.

That's ironic, particularly since Shep was brought back to life because of Liara's efforts. Out of the entire crew she went the distance for him/her as opposed to an Asari commando who has been brainwashed twice over and has the physical side-effects to prove it. I honestly didn't expect to see her turn into She-Hulk in ME2!
