Both KOTOR show failed graphics compatability

I played KOTOR 1 on my old computer fine. But my new Alienware M15x keeps showing my graphics card isnt compatable. And have NEVER been able to get KOTOR 2 to work, it has always given me a failed graphics test on both computers. Advice?

Oh, and I have an Nvidea Gforce 260 graphics card

Got to remember that the testing software was designed for hardware back years ago, the 260 didn't even exist on the drawing board at that time.
It will still play. But you have to make sure you patch the games up, and perhaps use a few minor fixes (Nvidia/ATI fix, mss32.dll fix)
