This card can be played with nearly every character. Miranda, Jacob, Jack, Kasumi, Tali. Take your pick.

All the human and asari main characters are sexualized to some extent. It's twoo. Samara's "sexualization" at least is solely visual. And let's not forget, she's an ALIEN. There's no reason to think that asari have the same attitude toward cleavage, nudity, etc., as humans. In fact, her massive cleavage is probably a sign that her outfit is "old-fashioned" for an asari, since the asari probably started buttoning their blouses about the time that they realized that human males tongues kept falling out, so probably a day after the two species met.

This thread is gonna start a Liara vs. Samara war or............. just go off-topic wiht insults like most typical BSN topics do.
Not my intention. I like Liara, in ME1 that is. Her personality took a left turn for the worse in ME2. I felt like I was talking to a different Asari altogether.
Samara is simply a more fully realized and mature vision of an Asari. It's not suprising that the writers have learned and moved on, so to speak.

Without saying a word Onelifecrisis perfectly summed up the ridiculousless of the notion that Samara is less of a fan service character than Liara.

Anything credible about Samara was undone when she was put in that ****ty outfit. Same with Miranda.
I should have canceled all those dates with women who displayed their physical attributes cause we all know they have no personality.

Not to bash Samara, since she is my favourite Asari, but Samara isn't going to any date and she would probably be insulted by that.

Anyway i think Samara could've different outfit instead this horny looking one and horny in a attractive way, But Miranda's outfit is perfect, there is no need to change anything in it, face it most of us dudes love her "bump", but I like her Dlc outfit that armor is hardass.

If the DLC armor came with a full-face helmet for hazardous environments, and if it came with the stock game, I would agree with you.

The only instance where fan service might extend is booty shots for some men, but even then Shepard's armor even in the butt has pads and other elements that lessen the skin-tight, shape exposure element.
Sex appeal in men is reserved to the heads/face. The suits are armored up so even with the new James Vega, as soon as he's in battle armor you don't even see his muscular frame so much as you see bulk.
Liara isn't even that tasteless. She's in a fairly covered and professional outfit. Miranda and Samara/Morinth are the real perps here. Kasumi, while having skin-tight pants, seems to be done very in character with the hood.
If anything, I wish Shepard had a chance at a Kasumi-like armor with the cool hood, at least infiltrators.

I agree wrt Liara. And I don't necessarily think you're wrong about Samara. I just wish the writers and costume designers would talk to each other.

Fully-clothed dry-humping, just like every other ME2 sex scene. We don't want to anger the Moral Crusaders of Fox News, after all.

Dunno. One would think all the publicity would lead to more sales, not less. That, and making conservative prudes angry is incredibly amusing. For me, at least.
