Isn't that her default outlook customised by modder?
Sorry I must ask all these questions but I really don't know how modders work with ME2.

Ah, yes, that's true.

But that was a modder changing her look.  Bioware decided "unzipped" was the way to go in ME2.  We had to look outside of the game for any other choice.  As such, unless they include skins with "zipped" and "unzipped" looks in Mass Effect 3, we'll have to turn to mods for any real customization choices.

The burden of the iconic look.

Edit:  And I don't know how to mod myself, I just know that iconic looks really restrict my choice and make the game less enjoyable.

Though Bioware have figures saying most people saved Ashley on Virmire so she's more liked than Kaidan.

She was the most popular ME1 love interest, but I'm not sure how many people cheated on her.

Her ME1 dialogue is bugged though, so if Bioware based most popular LI based on if certain flags were set, then in that number there could be quite a few people who flat out refused her and yet ended up getting confronted by her just before Ilos even though they weren't interested in her.

If modder can do something very radical compared to original outfit, then BioWare can do the same. Then if they will, it's totally different matter. Doesn't look good though...

I just thought that if we had like two outfits for characters out of the box and then maybe one DLC package then people who play on PC could try following.

Default outift = That's what they wear on Normandy
Alternate outfit 1 = That's what they wear when visiting places like The Citadel. (Could be replaced by Mod)
Alternate outit 2 = Mod, bad ass armoured gear for combat, space / hazardous places.

In this situation player would have 3 different kind of outfits to choose directly from ME3 interface. Wouldn't warm those who play on console a at all though.

Like I said I truly believe the intention of the writers was partly to make Liara a sexy blue chick we can shag. No complaints there. With Samara, yeah she's sexy, but in no way was she intended as a romancable character. So they fleshed her out *cough* in other ways. Her story with her daughter is compelling, the fact she's a justicar gives her a rich history. If they take the next step with the Asari - a step away from their hyper-sexualized aura - it should be with Samara.

I think this is pretty emblematic of Bioware. One team creates an interesting character with a unique moral code that forces her to confront and kill or be killed by her serial killer daughter and another team gives her approximately 2 feet of cleavage.

(See also: Miranda.
Bioware Employee A: Okay, we'll use this character and the plot device of genetic modification to explore how people respond to a particular form of abusive parenting.
Bioware Employee B: Now, in this scene where she's talking about an important development in her character arc, we need approximately 25% of the computer screen to be occupied by dat ass.)

Bisexual shaggable 14-year-old virgin who looks like Gillian Murray? Mmm, yeah, I'd call that fanservice.

Omnisexual 106-year-old virgin, you mean.

I like how CDPR spruced up Triss for TW2. She didn't need to dress like a hooker for every occasion like she did in TW1. It wasn't fitting with her character. So in TW2 they not not only buttoned her up they made her the most reserved and down to earth of all the sorceresses in the game. Now she's more like Geralt's friend, and a nice counterpart to the other sorceresses.

Indeed. I corrected you yesterday, and I will continue to do so as needed. Besides, when was the last time you saw a 14 year old girl with a doctorate in archaeology? If we're gonna anthropomorphize Liara, we'd have to place her human age in her early 20s at the earliest.

Yeah, very well put.

From my point of view just kinda sad. BioWare runs their company how they like and have every right to do so.
Then, after ME3 (and I think at this point it could get reviews score around 7 / 70% and most people who played the ME, ME2 or both would get it anyway) I think it might be my place just to look for other things. I grew older, got interested in different kind of things and games, well, they didn't grew up with me.

Hmm, I must have somehow missed the part where I was "corrected", but at least I now know your repetition is intentional.

Around about the same time as I last saw a space wizard. Is Kaiden not a human now?

Kaidan is definitely human. He's a human biotic, to be precise. Not sure where you're getting the idea that he's a wizard though, did they release a pointed hat + wand DLC for him and I missed it?

I said it before and I'll say it again. Anything that isn't ****** sapiens and didn't evolve on Earth is an alien. You really need to stop over-analyzing things. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Sometimes a 106-year old humanoid alien that resembles a human woman with blue skin is just a 106-year-old humanoid alien that resembles a human woman with blue skin.

+1. I really liked the fact that in TW2 she seemed to be wearing basically what you'd expect a magic user to wear to a dungeon/forest/swamp/etc. It's unfortunately rare to see female videogame characters designed with practical clothing haha.

Seems like you're avoiding the point. If the word "wizard" is the problem, try this instead:

The last thing I expected was to be accused of over-analysing. I'm not analysing at all. Put a blue human in front of me, and I'm going to call it a blue human.

Exactly. It's the people claiming otherwise that are overanalysing.

I would hope that you would at least call the police and paramedics, and check it for a pulse as well. Blue skin is generally a sign of hypothermia.

Well the sarcasm in that post was pretty obvious taking my 2 previous posts into consideration, it contradicted them.

Why would anyone in their right mind coat themselves in blue paint and claim to be a century old archaeologist.

Just out of curiosity, what are your thoughts when you see Garrus? Do you wonder why Dirty Harry is suddenly wearing an ugly mask?

That's amazingly irrelevant. It has nothing to do with whether this is my first forum or if I'm new to the internet thing.

It's called being lazy, sir, you may have been it before.
