Anything credible about Samara was undone when she was put in that ****ty outfit. Same with Miranda.

I should have canceled all those dates with women who displayed their physical attributes cause we all know they have no personality. =]

You take your dates to gunfights?  ;)

Miranda and Jacob were clearly fan service but Samara takes the cake.

You guys need to take your eyes off her ****** and consider the dialog in the game.

I think Bioware needs to take more cold showers before designing serious characters:lol:

I wonder how the sex scene with Samara would look like?

Fully-clothed dry-humping, just like every other ME2 sex scene. We don't want to anger the Moral Crusaders of Fox News, after all.

Why not? It worked the first time.

ME2 sex scenes were aweful man, I mean how the hell sex in clothes was supposed to be comfortable?
And sex scene with Miranda in Engine room, well that tell's  us that she loves to work with "engines", anyway I hope ME3 sex scene would be like ME1 sex scenes because they were awesome and looked more comfortable:D:D:D:D.

If I had it my way, every character's dress and progression through the story would be consistent. Bioware hasn't done this. We have to live with that. But I dare anyone who really knows Samara, who has exhausted all the conversation options with her, to tell me she's pure fanservice.

I'm always amused at the people who complain that Miranda should wear some armor and yet they don't seem to mind that Jack goes to battle with nothing but some straps to cover her bewbs.

I wonder why Samara didn't want to start a relationship/go to bed with Shepard ?

Is it because she's too old? or is it that she wasn't sure about it?

As I said before, that's not necessarily a bad thing. If Fox News attempts another smear job, it may actually convince people who are on the fence to buy the game. The ones who actually believe what Fox News has to say are usually the same type of people who aren't into video games anyway, so nothing of value will be lost, either.

Oh Samara is a fascinating character, to be sure.  But the outfit doesn't match the character.  Neither to Miranda or Jacob's outfits for that matter.  Serious, compelling characters.  Fanservice outfits.

And I'm worried that this sort of thing will continue into ME3

I don't know whose posts you've been reading, but in my ideal ME game, every character would wear lore-consistent armored hardsuits when they go into battle. Even Jack.

The thing is people who want to be taken seriously don't dress in absurdly revealing outfits. I agree that she has decent dialog, but I find it impossible to take her seriously when she's pulling an Elvis. You show me the first person who dresses like that in real life (not to a party, not to a show, in real everyday life), and people take them seriously.

It's been over a year since I played the game, but from what I remember Samara has basically been there and done that. She's looking for more than a 30 something human can offer. She comes across as rather aloof in this regard, almost condescending, and why shouldnt she? Shep was a player in ME2.

I'm sorry, it seems my image post prematurely derailed your thread. Hopefully it can get back on topic! And yes I agree she is not 100% silicone... I mean, fanservice.

Based on this topic alone, people always seem to forget the character with the most ridiculous outfit and attack Miranda instead.

I have those Alternative Appearance packs and I must say I think there was a place for the third one, like an armor for jacob, modrin and Samara.

Yes, god I wish I could get a decent armor pack for Samara. And I wish they could replace the default appearances instead of having to be activated in the squad screen. But that's off-topic...
