As part of an update to my rest system I'm re-working the campfire with cooking pot placeable. I've loaded in 3DSMax, renamed it all, added my bits, saved and compiled it OK. My problem is it no longer illuminates the surrounding area. What have I missed? Oh I've also added my bits to the original, compiled it and added it as an overwrite and it works ok. Just don't want to force an overwrite on peeps if I can avoid it.

If you have all the nodes and lights attached correctly then the fault would most likely be in the 2da - check the Light**** columns in placeables.2da.

I don't have the experience either of you do - so take what I say with a grain of salt - BUT isn't one problem with placeables that cast illumination that even when placed in "off" mode, the light still shines? In my rest system I am using the Q campfire placeable which appear to shed no light. And so I spawn and destroy a light source separately. It is working quite well.
