Revan book absoloutely ruined Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2. Messy plot, terrible story and a miserable send off for memorable and great characters. I do not reccomend that any KOTOR fan buys this.
Congrats Bioware, Drew Karoyshyn destroyed your greatest works

Is this me or Drew started to be hated like Mac Walters last year?

Stop hating, it wasn't that awful. I actually liked the book a lot. It's not as bad as your making it out to be.
My main irk is what SWTOR will do to the characters. I admit, the ending of the book was a bit of a shamble at times but it kept me hooked until the end. I had a feeling that something bad WAS going to happen, I mean... damn these no spoiler areas, I can't say it.
I am going to avoid typing things here as they can be deemed as spoilers.
Read the book. If you want to rage, so be it. I liked the book. It was well written, the storyline was interesting, it gave us an insight into what happened to Revan and I enjoyed it. It felt great to relive that fleeting moment when Revan speaks to some... characters. (Again avoiding spoilers).
I liked how Carth Onasi wasn't even *mentioned* in the book. Hahahaha

I don't know if you guys are in general testing of SWTOR or saw the footage on YouTube, but we get to know what happens to Revan. Prepare to be pissed off.

Heh, if you think peoples reaction to the book is bad.... you don't want to see the fallout from certain events in TOR. Now that did make me raise my eyebrows and go 'huh?'

Ill rent it from the library. So far though its not fitting with my version of events
LSM Exile with Hand Madien and LSF with Carth.

Absolutely not interested in the Revan book. I've lost all respect for Mac Walters and Drew over the last 3 years.

And that's part of the problem. The conon Revan is LSM Guardin, with Bastila and the Jedi Exile is LSF.
Pretty much anyone who's played the KotOR games is going to have their own version of both Revan and the Jedi Exile what alingemt they are and who they romanced. In my case both Revan and the Exile are both LSF.
One reason I'm going to pretend that certain things in TOR never happened

I wanted to read the book but after the reviews on Amazon.com I recommend any TRUE KOTOR fan (those who played the game 8 years ago in 2003 and still have fond memories of it) to stay clear of the book.

Revan is not a confirmed Jedi Guardian. His class is still up to the player unless you have canon facts to support it.

They started to play with Revan from the begining. Starting with introducing reversed grip for Revan.

I agree, the book tarnishes KotOR 1&2 and Revan, but I guess it was bound to happen, especially when TOR was announced. When it was clear what kind of story TOR would be about, let's just say that it put some limits into place.

My opinion only, Revan shouldn't be involved at all in TOR. or had the book about him. I do enjoy the book. I rather have Kotor 3.
