I'm thinking of respeccing Leliana. Is she better as Dual Wielder or Archer? She seems to do way more damage as a DW than an archer, even without DW skills. Also, I'm wondering if stealth is necessary to make her a better character. Is stealth and archer better, or stealth and DW?
Thanks, any other advice/tips would be helpful.

I'm trying to make her a DW Rogue. Can't stand archers personally.
I intend on focusing on Rogue talents and Branch One of the Dual-Wield group talents, as well as bard talents and probably duelist talents evantually.
I'm thinking of trying stealth as well, but that means not using other talents. Perhaps I'll go with stealth and later go into DW.
It would be interesting to know if anyone else has tried this and is so, if they have been successful.

The thing is, lelianna is a bard, and bard + full archer = a lost of stamina sustained, and that's not really good when you want to fire some arrow of slaying (it's possible but not really effective in a long battle, or you're bound to use many stamina bonus on your gear unless you like auto attacking with a bow, I know I don't).
Actually I usually build her like a ranger, dw sustained (mementum) + passive and scattershot line. I usually startthe battle with a bow and stun the area, then switch to DW and jump into battle with the bard+mementum and some poison.
For the second spec I usually pick assassin (since it's almost a passive passive spec) or duelist (cheap spec too), ranger + archer + bard is just a waste of stamina imo (If you don't believe me, spec zevran assassin/ranger DW, you'll see what dps means >.>).
As for stealth, If you get it, get all the line, with combat stealth, each time you go into shadows it's free backstab preparation (turn around, dirty fighting, mementum).
Either archer or DW, a stealth rogue is always advantaged (a master stealth rogue can trap under the enemy's feets while in combat resulting in an instant trigger, that alone is pure awesomeness, and it's only one of the many nasty things you can do with the talent XD).
