Upon reading that Anders gets Vengeance for free when he enters the Fade during Night Terrors, I wanted to give this a try. I spent 2 points on Panacea and the group heal, but left the Vengeance tree open. After taking Anders to the Fade, he still didn't have Vengeance, so what am I doing wrong? A Maker's to empty his whole special tree beforehand didn't help either. Is this still possible in the latest ps3 version? How exactly? And will you keep this freebie as an additional skillpoint, if you respec thereafter?

It varies depending on the version I think (360, PS3, PC). On some (like PS3) he gets it after Dissent (his Act 2 quest) instead.

On ps3 he gets vengance after dissent. I have gotten it there every time.

The skill will activate in the fade, but he will never have it for free until dissent.

Thanks for clearing that up, I guess my source was a bit misleading. If I only knew earlier, Anders wasn't too pleased with the visit and me selling the boy
