Hi guys.

Title pretty much says it all. I did Xzar's quest ages ago (I've done at least 3 big quests -- Nalia's Keep style -- since then) and I get nothing. She hasn't even been summoned back there for Gavelary's interrogation.

Jaheira's romance is activated. I've reached LT 7 ("This may be a bad time or not, but you asked me a question and I brushed it aside..."). I suspected that maybe the romance would slow the Harper quest down, but should it really be taking this long? I seem to remember that Jaheira normally gets summoned back to the Harper hold almost immediately after Xzar's assasination.

Any ideas?

Did you have that encounter with a band of bandits trying to rob the party while they sleep? You need to rest in a wilderness area for that trigger. Jaheira's romance will not advance until after that event. It does slow the Harper subplot down at points.

No, I haven't yet had the encounter with the bandits. Do you think the Harper quest will start after that?

I'm almost positive, as I had a similar issue several years ago. Try resting outside d'Arnise keep and see what happens. There is a chance you might have another romance talk or two with Jaheira before Lucet spawns to call her to the Harper Hold; but I'm not sure about that. It's been ages since I tried her romance.

I actually have the same problem, Jaheira hasnt been summoned yet. I've been playing two games back and forth, and in one Jaheira was summoned very quickly (the one where she hadnt been in the party much, just rejoined and I was romancing Aerie) and in the other where she has been with me all the way and I am romancing her she still havn't been summoned although I have played that game more than three times as long as the other.

It should have to do with the romance thing, I will try resting outside or just let some more time pass. Otherwise it could be a bug, although im patched and fixpacked.

Im hoping it will work out, as I have never seen the Jaheira romance through as I have never used her. I always thought she was weak and annoying, but her dualwielding blackblood and belm and her ability to cast ironskins and other nifty spells has changed my mind.

If you're romancing Jaheira, it won't happen until after the bandit encounter. So you have to be far enough along in the romance and then rest outside the city (like Seagloom suggested, the de'Arnise Keep area is a good spot for this).

If you're not romancing her, it happens basically immediately.

Another question about Jaheira, Im romancing her, pretty far along although she hasnt gotten the harper pin and there has been no sex. Will going after Bohdi (after Underdark) break the romance, assuming she gets abducted?

I have G3 fixes and tweaks installed, btw.

Bodhi doesn't break anything, she may indicate that is already broken though (by not abducting Jaheira).

Ok, now I have progressed the romance as far as I think it goes in SoA. I have had Jaheira ask me to sleep with her, which I did (score!). However, Terminsel or whatever his name is havent showed up and given her a pin yet and I have read that it should happen BEFORE Jaheira and I spend the night together. Is this right or is he still coming? Is the romance finished? I want that nice harper pin, but I have done everything before Suldanesselar and I have just been waiting for Jaheira's quest and romance to finish (wow, it's long!).

Go to the docks and sleep in the inn... he should show up after you leave the inn.
