I have installed ME1 in Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit using XP mode. When I start the program from the launcher I get the message "This program cannot be run remotely." This hapens both with the program disc in the optical drive or out of the drive.

One other possible relevant fact. I am running Windows 7 on a Mac Pro in a Bootcamp partition.

Any help on what this message means would be appreciated.

You should eb able to install it in normal WIn7 mode, but with admin rights. Its only running it that you should have to set compatibility to XP.

If a reinstall doesnt help, post your specs accordnig to the "how to" thread.
