Skyrim is $40 today. And Company of Heroes is a measly $1.99. Anyone with any interest in RTS games should pick that up.

And people should be checking up on Amazon's digital download deals too- they've got Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $10 (which can be activated on Steam) and Tropico 4 for only $4.99. Although those deals may be US only...

razzenfrazzen... I've been lukewarm on Deus Ex so far, but for $10?

Gah, nope, still can't justify it.  But, heck, that is a great price for a so recent released game!  I love PC gaming and digital downloads.

A lot of the discounts extend to DLCs and Multi-Packs and Brady Guides, so I'd check anything you're interested in if I were you...

Hard Reset is definitely worth $5 IMO. I wish it was a bit longer, but it was a blast to play.

I'm debating whether or not to pick up Risen for $15. Anyone care to provide some feedback on this game?

Hard Reset is so worth it and it's getting an expansion too. Risen is great a diamond in the rough really. There is a demo on Steam you should try it out and Risen 2 should be coming out in 2012.

The only game i'm remotely interested in is Risen, and that's not availabe in my region. Is it possible for someone to gift me the game, or won't it activate on Australian Steam?

I just noticed something and there's a good chance eveyone else already has noticed this...

But each day's Specials actually run about 28 hours...not 24. That means that yesterday's gems like Skyrim are still on sale for about 3 more hours! Am I really slow or did no one else see that? (wait...don't answer, I think I can take a good guess as to which is the case)

Anyone who is still unsure about Batman: Arkham games and haven't already played Asylum 5 bucks is a pure steal. If you don't have it already and thats not good enough then nothing will be.

I picked up the WB pack which included Arkham City, Arkham Asylum, Bastion, LOTR War in the North, several FEAR games, some kind of Lego Harry Potter, Lego Batman, Terminator Salvation. Also took advantage of the discount sales on Risen, E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy, Avadon Black Fortress, Divinity 2, Torchlight, Garry's Mod and Dungeons of Dredmore.

Lord knows when I'll have time to even install any of those. I guess you have to jump on some grenades to get a couple of decent games in any package. 

Fortunately, I suppose it averages out to a couple dollars for each one.

@naughty99: I've played Avadon: The Black Fortress and enjoyed it...it's a much bigger Game than it looks like it'll be and I'm playing Dungeons of Dredmor now and finding it a lot of fun and pretty hilarious...so those are two I think you might like.

I want them to discount Deus Ex HR. Nothing has tempted me so far.
