Looks like Arcanum is on sale for $2.99 at GOG

GOG have had hundreds of items on sale since before christmas.

My bad...I keep forgetting to add reminders in the Daily update that GoG has a 50% off Sale going until January 2nd!

Personally, I'm going to pick up Icewind Dale 1 & 2 for $4.99 each...I love those games! They've also posted some intersting info about their plans for the future that includes some talk about offering Indie games, bring more recent stuff to their catalog and adding more Publishers.

It is kinda lame how few good games have been on sale on Steam. Either the good ones have crappy discounts or they are not on sale at all.

Ok. Here are the daily Deals at Steam and there are actually quite a few Titles on Deep Discount today because a lot of the Specials are on whole Franchises!

-The Fear franchise is 50% off

-Cities in Motion is $4.99

-the Prince of Persia franchise is 75% off

-Stronghold 3 is $33.49

-games in the Star Wars franchise are 75% off (I have to admit I'm not familiar with the Games in the franchise, so this is one you should check on if your interested)

-Dawn of War Franchise is 66% off

-Call of Duty: Black Ops is $29.99

-Terraria is $2.49

-Solar 2 is $2.49

-the Gothic franchise is 75% off

-Disciple III Renaissance Steam Special Edition is $4.99 & Gothic III: Resurrection is $7.49

-Sequence is $1.24

And don't forget: the previous day's Sale titles are still on slae for about another 3 1/2 hours...looks like Steam is doing this during the entire Sale, so it's sort of a second-chance to grab anything you might have missed from the prior day's list!

As Always, Good Gaming Everyone!

The Dawn of War franchise (namely Dawn of War 2) is well getting. A really fun RPG / RTS hybrid. I never played multiplayer but the campaign itself was a lot of fun.. 6.79 for Dawn of War 2 is well worth it.. and $10 for the Retribution expansion is also extremely well worthwhile as well.... Chaos Rising expansion is 6.79 as well, never played it but I read it's also extremely fun.

Great for fans of RTS games who like a mix of RPG as well.

Wow. Amazon is selling Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light for a piddling $2.49, and Dungeon Siege III at $4.99. It's tempting to buy the latter so I can pass the code along to a friend. Then maybe I can finally get a proper four player game going...

They've also got Just Cause 2 for only $2.49. Amazon is really besting Steam this year with the incredibly good deals.

Yeah, the Amazon deals have been pretty good. Downside is I already own every worthwhile game they put on sale. I was gifted Guardian of Light during Steam's Thanksgiving sale, and bought DS3 at launch. I passed on Human Revolution after giving it some thought. So far all I got from them was Armored Princess and a DAOU.

One thing Steam has over Amazon is their sales last longer. Amazon pulls theirs down in less than 24 hours. I wanted to get a digital version of DA2 for $5; blinked, and it was gone. It wasn't up longer than an afternoon. With the exception of HR, that's been true of all their AAA title discounts so far.

Thats true, but at the same time, Amazon seems to put some of their deals back up. Stuff like Just Cause 2 or Tropico 4 having gone back down to their crazy low prices today. Steam usually has the last day of the sale as a recap of the best selling daily deals however.

Its bound to be a daily deal on Steam since it hasn't been one yet. Don't know if it'll be only $9.99 though

LOTR: War in the North and Shogun 2 are probably the two games I've most been looking out for in these sales... the former isn't as cheap as I was hoping (although I know its a new game) so I'll wait another time for that as I'm busy with better fantasy RPGs at the moment anyway.

True...I haven't been listing the individual DLCs in the main List posts because if the Game is on Sale, the DLCs are also usually on Sale at the same discount...I can't speak highly enough of this Game! If anyone is only able to afford one DLC, my suggestion would be "Old World Blues"...that is THE best DLC I've ever played!

The Civ V DLCs are on sale as well...so it's a good time to pick up any Civilization DLCs for Civ V...many of them SHOULD have been in the core Game IMO...Civ isn't the same without Korea in there.
