Saints Row 3 is the only option that I don't own, but I think if Witcher 2 goes on sale, I can buy it and trade for something.

Saints Row: The Third at 75% would be a great deal, though. I have some friends that might snap it up at those prices.

Steam might not get anything from me this year. Thanks to their past sales I own almost everything I could ever want from them. There are a mere five games left on my wishlist. >.<
I know what you mean - bought that massive Paradox package last year including around 100 games I'm probably never going to play.
It's too bad you can't buy publisher packages and trade off the games you already own. That 2K pack looks like a great deal, but I already own Civ 5 and Bioshock 2.
I might buy the Rockstar pack, as I've never played any of those games and heard a lot of good things about GTA. Are LA Noire and Max Payne 3 any good? Do you think it's worth $50 for the package?

And Naughty I voted for Witcher 2. I want more people to experience it and I own Arkham City and don't care about Saints Row.

Max Payne 3? So not worth it at even its current price. L.A Noire also no it was $5 just a few days ago (or weeks not sure) so you can find it cheaper.

Hmm... perhaps I should just buy GTA IV complete edition for $14.99? Do you think it's worth it? Never played any GTA game before, but I think the sandbox aspect sounds interesting.

I like Steam, I do, but smart shoppers should also peak at Amazon for whatever you are about to buy from Steam.
I just got the X-Com set a few days ago for $2.99, where Steam was selling it for $14.99. When I bought Dead Island it was $10 cheaper on Amazon. And many times you can choose Steam or non-Steam versions from Amazon (like with Max Payne 3) if you still want to play your games through Steam (or don't want to.)

The best part is some of the biggest games are unlocked on Steam anyway.

Pretty much between Amazon and Steam's summer sale, I'll probably end up just stocking up on games for cheap for the rest of the year.
I'm pretty much probably going to get ARMA II and Recettear. Maybe I'll get Crusader Kings II, but I think Amazon might have had that cheaperin the past than it is now as a Steam daily deal. And maybe Saint's Row the Third, Max Payne 3 and the Human Revolution DLC. No big games really jump out at me though this year compared to years past.
Just noticed they have those "Flash deals" in addition to the daily deals too!

Can't even get on it. And those deals look mouth watering.
Scratch that I'm in.
I highly recommend getting DE:HR for the £4.99 flash sale if anyone hasn't played it yet. Absolute bargain at that price.

Already have the games I'm interested..... though to be honest ever since joining the DRM-free revolution I've been avoiding Steam
I'm in a similar position, although I'll grab a game on Steam that requires it, if it's 5 bucks or less. Just picked up Portal 2 for 5 bucks. Judging from how much I enjoyed Portal (which I picked up when they offered it free last year), I figure Portal 2 is worth the fin.

lol - sort of.
While I do own 12 games on Steam, I've never paid more than 5 bucks for any of them (and three or four of them I got free), except the very first Steam title I ever bought (Mass Effect 1). While I prefer DRM free games, I'm realistic enough to know that there are some titles that will never be offered without being tied to a service, but I'm only willing to pay a maximum of 5 bucks for that 'service'. No service, be it Steam, Origin, or something else, will ever get more than 5 bucks out of me for a game. Sadly, this likely means it may be a long time before I get to play ME 3, if ever. So be it.
Still, even though I don't think there's anything else I'll want, I'm interested to see what other deals are offered during the rest of the sale.

I'm hoping to see AC:Revelations and Arkham City reach daily deal/flash deals. I hope Arkham City wins the community vote...who doesn't own Witcher 2 by now? And who cares about SR3?
If I get Arkham City and AC:Revelations, that fills everything I wanted in the Steam sale. Everything beyond that is just icing on the cake...
Probably will get some indie games but the indie bundle right now kinda sucks. So I got Grimrock and Dungeon Defenders separate. Supposedly two great indie games.
*groans* Arkham City uses GFWL...not sure I want to buy now...

About the only thing I'm really hoping to see go on sale for a song is Kingdom of Amalur. But Steam usually manages to find other hidden gems I never knew I wanted so who knows.
