Damn them for putting the new version of Divine Divinity on sale the day after I bought it! Of course the non sale price was only $2 higher so can't really complain.

About the only thing I'm really hoping to see go on sale for a song is Kingdom of Amalur. But Steam usually manages to find other hidden gems I never knew I wanted so who knows.

Gabe can be very convincing. :P

I just bought D2:DKS. I always wanted the game, but the silly DRM kept me from buying it. It seems that it was finally removed.

Picked that one up on GOG during there battle of the games event (60% off).  I made a custom DVD case for the backup copy I made.

Is The Force Unleashed any good? I had never heard of this title before, but it's on sale for $4.99.

Dragon Knight Saga doesn't have DRM. <--- It's included on Steam fully patched DKS.

@Naughty the first one is pretty fun but eventually becomes a chore the second one isn't good in any way.

The first one is a good deal at $4.99. Never played the second, but it's supposed to be particularly bad.

From what I've read this sale is nuts. One item on sale every 8h. Sry I'm not so addicted to video games to monitor a sale page 3 times a day.

Ahh, too late - already bought both 1 & 2. I put them in my Steam inventory, however - perhaps I can trade them to a Star Wars fan for a different game.

I'm going to seriously murder somebody if AC:Revelations doesn't win this vote going up against those two titles...

Darkness 2? Looks completely different from the first one and I didn't like the first one. Rage is a beautiful but sub-par ID game and people want to complain about ME3's ending being the worst ever? I present to you Rage if you want to see the worst ending in gaming.  The entire game is mediocre...

That's one of the last two games I really want on Steam. The other is Arkham City. Everything else will just compliment what I've already bought. I got most of what I wanted on day 1. Looking for some good indie bundles. So far I've bought Legends of Grimrock, Trine franchise pack and Dungeon Defenders for indie games. Hoping Steam puts together an absolutely amazing 5 indie game package one of these days.

How about Darksiders and Payday: the Heist? Are these games worth $4.99?

Yeah one of the first games I ever snagged during a Steam sale. (during one of the previous events) Got it for a song and no DRM. Was good fun for the price I got it at.

At least Darksiders is. It's a solid God of War clone with Zelda puzzles and exploration with a (unintentionally) silly plot

It'll keep you busy for 10 hours

Darksiders is strange. You either love it or hate it.

I personally didn't like it. Some of it does feel like Zelda but that game is repetitive. It's one of those games where the mechanics are so repetitive, it didn't benefit itself by being a 15 hour experience. You wanted it to be over much quicker than that. But it drags on and on and on...

The combat is so simplified it's boring...

Those type of games need dynamic combos like a Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry...

Anyways, what would you guys rate the Indie Bundle 2 on Steam? Looks to have some decent games but I've never heard of some.

Ok, I'm new to STEAM and don't know what to get. Got both Still Lifes and the Fallout pack. Any other recommendations?

The only thing I have in that bundle is E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy. Its one of those games that feels like it should be more awesome than it actually is. Everything and the kitchen sink is in the game but it just doesnt all gel together like it should.

I'd have a hard time reccomending it, but its at least worth the $4 for buying it separate.

If you are new to Steam, maybe check out some of the publisher package deals.

There are a bunch of these priced around $50 including lots of heavily discounted games. A couple of those will put a big fat backlog in your inventory like the rest of us. :P

I would look into anything you were interested in before but may have avoided due to its Steamworks DRM. It's hard to make specific recommendations without knowing what you're looking for. Steam's selection is huge and varied. RPGs only? Anything under the sun?

FYI, don't forget about Amazon. They seem to be price matching most Steam deals.

I ended up missing getting Saints Row the Third yesterday, but its going to be on sale for the same or better discount (75%off) next week.

Buying that stretches my ability to justify buying Max Payne 3, which just hit 50% off!

Grrr.

If the community choice gets AC Revelations I might just grab it. Its all I'm hoping for this summer.

Well I've voted for it.
