Really torn about the Game of Thrones RPG. I'd probably pay $35 to support the IP, but I also want GRRM to give the IP to someone else like Obsidian or CDPR. Not to mention I already have more than what I can play. I'll probably wait.

Crusader Kings 2 is already the best ASOIAF game made. Just the vanilla game, set in Europe. Add in the Game of Thrones mod and it's no contest.

Is Witcher 1 a good game? I would have got Witcher 2 but my PC can't play it. My backlog of games so far is so huge that I think I would never finish Witcher 1, LOL.
If you don't mind terrible gameplay, then TW1 is worth a play, as it has a great story and atmosphere.
Just realize that TW2 is 100 steps up from it, so if you play TW1 and don't like it, play TW2 anyway because it's an improvement on everything.

@ jon1991: Witcher 1 is absolutely a marvelous game. I prefer it to the second, though both are excellent and a no-brainer for these prices.

Does the mod change it from a strategy game to a RPG?

Wow, I thought I was the only one who enjoyed Witcher 1 more than the second game. There were some really great moments in Witcher 1, highly recommend it - especially at this price.

Just thought i'd mention this game as i think it's a great game, IMO, more RPG than the other 2 on offer. It makes you work hard for the good rewards, I clocked over 100hrs on it and i've only done that on Oblivion, Fallout And all the Mass Effect games.
also i like games that let you customize your character.
if it wins the vote for it will be less than £5!

One problem I noticed with DKS is that once I got up to around level 7 or 8, I started spending a tremendous amount of time standing around outside of combat just waiting for my health and magicka to recover. That game really needs a wait or sleep function, or simply faster healing outside of combat. That aspect of the game began to grow tiresome and I stopped playing as a result.

I loved it. Some people really hate it. I don't understand them, but I'd definitely look up some gameplay videos in your case to get a feel for it.
Don't get fooled by people talking about bugs though. It HAD many issues but was patched heavily. I am able to play it just fine without running into bugs these days.
Think of it as Borderlands meets Dead Rising.

DKS is wittier and has more customization options in terms of your character's gender and looks, but TW2 is graphically superior, is more 'open' and has a very interesting magic system.

And great online but really all 3 games are a good choices at 75% off. Dragon Knight Saga will last a lot longer though.

Clunky as some of it was, I preferred the first as well. But don't let that lead you to think I disliked the second. I thought it was excelent. But the first is my favorite of the two.

Its ok. I had it gifted to me and I'm glad it was because I doubt I'd have bought it until it was super cheap like now.
I like the first person melee and weapon crafting but it falls flat when you have a kick move that is more effective than any weapon you can make. The story is pure garbage. Its borderlands meets zombies with a WoW feel to it. Meaning if your playing it for any story than better look elsewhere and it will get old very fast even with some friends to play it with.

That brings my total to $38.70 for:
The Walking Dead
Hitman: Blood Money
Recettear
Crusader Kings 2 + DLC
Missing Link DLC for Deus Ex:HR
Probably the only thing left on my radar that I'm hoping to go for a Daily/Flash deal is ARMA II for Day-Z.

Deus Ex - GOTY
Dragon Age: Origins - UE (Only ever really played on Xbox which sucked.)
Divine Divinity
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Fallout: New Vegas - UE
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Hope the 2nd one gets put on Steam in the future.)
Torchlight
The Witcher - Enhanced Edition
The Witcher 2 - Enhanced Edition
Never really understood why people go crazy for Steam sales, never really used it until May. Now I understand...

WoW feel? I don't get that at all. But yeah the story pretty much just pushes you through the areas.
Anyway I just wanted to say that the kick move isn't better than weapons at all. Early in the game, before the patch that made kick take stamina, yeah it was good for the first few levels. Now it is a simply a good tool that you should definitely use, but weapons are what keeps you alive against a horde of infected or those special zombies. You try kicking a butcher to death. I'll one or two-shot it with my poisoned katana instead.
Ahem, derailing the converstaion here. I think I've just about bought what I want from the games they are willing to put on sale. Still missing Bloodlines, but I doubt it'll be on sale at all.
