Yep, if you don't already have it, there is no excuse. It's less than $5, cheaper than two lattes. Even if you only have a crappy laptop, it will run this game. 

Probably the best dialogue and story of any RPG I've played.

It's a very "faithful" fantasy rpg. So if you like swords, shields, bad british accents, and ridiculous powers, then it might be up your alley.

This makes me miss Gauntlet Legends... *sigh*

Definitely worth it. I spent well over a 100 hours on the game. Try the demo if you want. It had its problems but its fine now and they even removed the DRM.

Two of my friends still need the expac and I refuse to play some multiplayer without Gods and Kings. Today they are finally buying it.

Only thing I'm worried about with these sales events is, buying things for 50% off, then a day later they're 90% off. Got burned by that last time, heh. I guess it's not that much to complain about to "only" get it for 50% off though.

I think the general rule for these end of year type Steam sales is only buy if its a Daily Deal and if it never becomes a Daily Deal, just get it on the last day. That way you're making sure you're getting the best price.
