Man...I am WEAK!!!

I finally couldn't take it anymore and I just bought L.A. Noir! I knew I wouldn't be able to hold out until the Winter sale.

But, I've never been less upset at giving in to Temptation...lol

It's okay, man XD We've all given into temptation before.
Besides, L.A. Noir is awesome :3 I have it for my 360 though but still, it's awesome.

I blame my dear whykikyouwhy for my loss of self-control! She and I have been talking about the Natalie Wood Case and True Crime for the past couple of hours and I just simply couldn't take it anymore! (plus it's easier than blaimng myself :P )

GoG has just posted their Sale for this weekend and there's some good stuff up for dirt cheap! I'd list them all, but there are a lot and I'm too busy hanging my head in consumerist shame to make out the List. Everyone should check GoG to see if anything they've been interested in is on Sale...with GoG's normal prices anything they put on Sale is almost a give-away!

Things like L.A. Noir always interested me so when the game first came out I was all "I MUST HAVE IT!!!!" XD

D2D is having their sale too.... all games 20% off. It's not remarkable though (although it could be depending on the game you want to buy). But yeah, I saw that GOG is having their sale too :3 I love it when GOG has their sales because they are just way too generous XD They spoil PC gamers and it's awesome ;A; <3

Sorry I'm coming in a few minutes late with the 12 Mega-Deals on Steam's sale today...I was having a bit of trouble navigating the site there is so much traffic!

-Most notable on Sale today and one I know some folks were specifically looking out for is Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $24.99! That's 50 % off!

-Dead Island is on Sale for $19.99

-Sanctum and all its' DLCs (I'm pretty sure it's all of them) is 75% off!

-All of the GTA series that Steam has in their catalog are 75% off!

-Warhammer 40K is on Sale for $33.49 (I've heard good things about this one from folks who enjoy the Genre)

-And one that I think may be near and dear to the Hearts of most BSN members...Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is on sale for $4.99!

There are 6 more to round it out to 12 Games total on Super Deep discount...these were the 6 I thought everyone here would be most interested in and that I could get before it became just too difficult to navigate Steam...there is, of course a ton of interest in Steam's sale so traffic to the Site is VERY heavy...I would suggest waiting a while to check these out just so it's easier to get around.

I did also see the King Arthur RPG/Strategy series is featured today, but I'm not too familiar with it and wasn't able to write the prices down before it became too frustrating to navigate around.

These are terrific prices, but do please note: some of these Games are not Windows 7 compatable due to their age, so check very carefully on the older titles to makes sure you will be able to run them on your PC.

As Always, Good Gaming Everyone! Image IPB

I had my eye on KotOR and Back to the Future, but I exhausted all my petty cash yesterday evening. KotOR is lower priority, though. I already own it and just wanted a digital copy. GOG has the first two Divinity games on sale super cheap. I would have snatched those up too, but again, brokeness. C'est la vie.

I picked up Fall Out: New Vegas (+ DLC), the Penumbra collection, and the new Humble Bundle this morning.

While DE:HR looks tempting, I'm going to hold off for now

DE:HR is very tempting, but I wouldn't be able to play it. I plan on getting the 360 version though.

That price on New Vegas is still messing with my head! It was a steal! If you haven't played it yet, prepare yourself for a lot of hours of Gameplay...it is HUGE if you take your time. Also, I'd strongly suggest taking the "Wild Wasteland" perk...it leads to some of the Game's best moments and at least one weapon that is epic and only available if you have the perk.

It's terrific, definitely worth the money. It's atmosphere is one of the best in a videogame.

It warms my heart to see I'm not missing out on anything I want today. That leaves one more daily deal. Hope I can snatch another heavily discounted title before it's all over! Not that this hasn't already been a great sale to me.

Hear,Hear! I've been in hog heaven as the say during this entire sale...this is the 1st major Steam Sale I've been through, so I'm expecting to see good stufff during the Sale around the Holidays!

Yesterday, when I broke down and grabbed that 50% off deal on L.A. Noire, I also bought the Cthuhlu Saves the World/Breath of Death 2-pack for $1...I've played about an hour of Cthuhlu Saves the World and it is hilarious! Well worth the buck I spent even if I never touch it again. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys a good, funny, very Retro looking game (talking intentionally made to look like it's off an old 8bit system Retro) should toss this on their next purchase! I don't think it'll be getting any cheaper than $1...but then again, never thought I'd see FO:NV's Courier Stash for 39 cents either, so who knows Image IPB

No, the Sale is listed as ending tomorrow...now my question is: Will they put 12 more titles on deep discount tomorrow or are today's batch the last? I'm not sure if they're using GMT or the Time and Date where they're located...

Well ****. I was hoping World in Conflict would go for cheaper.

EDIT Its not as I'm cheap its that I can buy a physical copy with shipping for the same price, so it begs the question of why in the hell should I buy it from them.

I'm tempted to pick up Civ V as I've never played a Civilization game but I do love turn-based strategy.

But I cannot justify the cost as I have so many games right now.

Actually, after taking a quick look at Metacritic to get a general idea of Civ V's reception I saw a User Review that states that Religions and Espionage are no longer part of the Game. Taking those aspects out of the game in and of itself is enough to make me say "Skip It" they were the two best parts of Civ IV which was pretty lackluster when compared to the previous games in the series...Take 2 really made this Franchise poorer since they took it over.

As a long standing Civilization fan, I recommend you buy Civ IV with the Warlords and Beyond the Sword expansions instead.
Civ 5 is... lacking.

OK...did a little checking and found an answer to my own question: There are roughly 46 1/2 hours left on the Sale, so that does mean that there will be 12 more Titles put on deep discount Sunday 11/27.

You could try the demo for Civ V to get a feel for it?

Question is whether there will be 12 new games as daily deals or whether they'll just take some of the prior daily deals and put them back on the larger discount? That seems to be what Steam has done lately with the last day of their big sales- just put prior daily deals back up one last time.
