That's right! It's time to update Steam's Daily Deal!
Today they're offering up Bastion for the low, low price of $4.99! That's 67% off!
Steam has this Game tagged with the Genres: Action, RPG, & Indie.
I haven't played it, but the Screenshots look amazing!
Remember...just visiting the Daily Deal page gets you entered in Steam's Giveaway Contest!
(Steam really should start paying me for this)

I'd like to give the usual full Update on today's Daily Deal from Steam, but they seem to be having a bit of a problem with the Servers or something.
I can tell you that the Deal is on Homefront and it is 75% off, but I can't actually get to the page to see what the price is...Sorry
Didn't want to leave everyone hanging and I may not be able to get back on later.
Also of note: Everquest II has been added to Steam's "Free to Play" Library and I thought that was worth a mention.
Even if you aren't interested in Homefront, it is still worth visiting Steam (when things are back to normal) and clicking on the Page just to earn an entry into their Contest.
Also, Thanks to Dave of Canada & Apollo Starflare and others who have posted specific recommendations on the various Titles Steam has had up since Honeyydew started this Thread...if you feel comfortable Recommending a Game you see Posted here, by all means feel free to let everyone know...nothing is more helpful than feedback from other Gamers. I know after what they Posted, I almost went for Bastion yesterday but my Credit Cards are still screaming from the abuse I put them through during the Autumn Sale.
As always, Good Gaming!

Everyone should check out GoG to take a look at what's coming up...They are starting the Holidays off with a BANG! There are going to be more things coming up on Sale, some Giveaways and a Massive almost-Full Catalog 50% off Sale all very soon!
If you haven't signed up on GoG, you should even if you aren't planning on buying anything...you do get a few Games free when you sign up (nothing Super-Cool, but Free is Free) and there isn't any obligation to buy anything when you sign up...it'll put you in the running for the Giveaways, if nothing else.

Napoleon Total War on sale for 75% off at direct2drive.com ... great strategy game and well worth it especially at only $12.
That's a great price! If I wasn't too fumble fingered to handle RTS games, I'd grab that in a second!
Too bad I always end up sending Units into Lakes or Oceans or directly at an enemy line...wish they would do what I want and not what I tell them to do! lol

All feedback is Welcome, but you have to be more specific, please Ringo.
Legit critiques, too...none of the "Game Sucks" variety...you're pretty knowledgable and well spoken.

I think my main issue with this game was its length. Even playing the game on hard, with numerous restarts due to technical issues, and having to wait through the annoying, unskippable logo movies, the game still was over in just a few hours. It felt much shorter than the first game, and was not even worth the discounted [...] price. The gameplay, while still pretty fun at times, got very repetitive, simply because I tended to use the same tactic (grip object or stormtroopers, lightning, and throw) on practically every enemy in the game. The saber combat, another weak area of the first game, was not improved at all. I found myself using the same attack over and over again (slash, slash, lightning). The longer moves were easily blocked or interrupted, and I had to force myself to use them just for the sake of variety.
I also experienced a number of serious technical issues, from pre-rendered cut-scenes frequently failing to play, to crashes during loading, to completely broken physics where stormtroopers would float in mid-air like it was in zero-gravity. In addition, the game is capped at 30 frames per second, making everything feel a bit choppy. I just can't forgive that when I play on PC. Story also suffered which also doesn't help since the first was better. There were hardly if any improvements and the game had so many problems I can't recommend buying it even for $5. If you do be prepared to become inredibily frustrated at the controls if you plan to play with a mouse and keyboard.

Here's the Update on the Daily Deal from Steam:
Today they have the Tales From Monkey Island Complete Pack for $8.74...75% off their regular price!
I'm not familiar with the Game, I've heard a lot of folks say great things about it...so I'm not too sure what they mean when they say "Complete Pack"...so if someone more familiar with the Game Series checks it out, perhaps they could clarify just what is so "complete" about it.
The Game is Rated E for Everyone but it does note there is Comic Mischief in the Game! COMIC MISCHIEF!!!
Good Gaming, Everyone!

Limbo for $2.50! 75% Off!
I bought this Game during the Autumn Sale...I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I've been told by many folks it is amazing and if you look at the Screenshots the Art-style is beautiful!
I'd have to say at this price, you can not go wrong!

Fantastic game. I highly recommend it but if you want a better experience get it on Gog.com because the Steam version does have some problems also you get Witcher 1 if you buy it from Gog. Witcher 2 is one of my favorite rpgs of the year probably since Witcher 1.

Ouch! The Sale on The Witcher 2 on Steam ended today, so it isn't available from them at that price anymore
But I would still go with Ringo's advice...the Game is no longer offered with a free copy of The Witcher EE, but GoG is having a major 50% off Sale...The Witcher EE is available for $4.99 & The Witcher 2 is on Sale for $23.99!
