They also have a Dead Island Four-Pack (1 for you and 3 to give to friends...and the Game looks like you'll NEED friends) for $59.98! That's also 50% off!

Steam has started their Holiday Sale!
There are 12 Titles that are going to be deeply discounted changing everyday between now and January 1st 2012!
They've laid their Front Page out in a strange way and it's nearly impossible to navigate at the moment because it looks like they're still working on it as we speak...
I was able to see that Fable III is on Sale, as is Amnesia, Metro 2033, Portal & Portal 2 and some others, but prices kept changing from Regular to Sale and back again...
There are also some Giveaways, but I'm not really sure how they work...I think some of them are linked to Achievements in certain Games.
They also have Catalog Collection Specials listed...
Bottom line: check it out for yourselves! You don't want to miss something because I can't seem to figure out what they've done!

Does anyone know why KOTOR 2 is not available on Steam?

That's... a good question... in fact, none of the digital retailers I know have it... yet most have the original game.... that is very... weird.

BTW: That 1st prize is horrible. Imagine what effect having all games on Steam would have on your social life. It would be ruined for years.

There are great Sales on games like Lego: Batman, The Witcher franchise, Sacred Gold & Sacred 2, Tropico 4, and Costume Quest...too many (and way too much traffic to the Site) to be able to list here!
Don't forget the Contests!

There is some heavy traffic on Steam. The store is unavailable and gave the message to try it sometime later.
It is a bit spotty...but I've been able to get through...
I would suggest holding off on making any Purchases or Downloads until things clear up a bit...may save yourself a TON of trouble since it seems EVERY Steam user is logging in to see what's on Sale.

Are they worth it? Also, is Bastion or LOTR war in the north any good?

Bastion is an amazing game, great art, soundtrack, fun hack n' slash action, and I really enjoyed the story. They also added a large update with new content, so it is on my list of games to playthrough again
