Hot damn Arkham City that low already?
No one has any excuse this is my pick for Game of the Year if I hadn't pre ordered it and finished it 3 times already I'd be all over that... Ok no I wouldn't because I'm poor but there you go lol.

Also Kinda wished I held onto some of my money for Payday: The Heist.   Got tons of friends playing it from my L4D2 days.

If you're looking for some fun indie games, you should check out  Humble Bundle and Indie Royale. I am a big fan of the Humble Bundles and got some great games from them, including Super Meat Boy, which is included with the current bundle

I almost bought the DLC last night but the price was making say no.
Robin and Nightwing and some skins for 15 dollars? No thanks but here
Robin and Nightwing at 3.50 and the skins at 2.50!!!

I'm seriously looking at Arkham City, but I'm waiting to see if the hints I laid out to my Brother hit home at all...don't want to be buying something I'll be getting as a Gift! lol

What're the DLCs like? I'm wondering how much there is to the Robin and Nightwing DLCs and what the "Challange Map" pack is all about...

What're the DLCs like? I'm wondering how much there is to the Robin and Nightwing DLCs and what the "Challange Map" pack is all about...

Robin and Nightwing are playable characters only in the challenges of course thats a big reason why I didn't buy them already.
As for the Challenge map pack its a joke I wouldn't touch that.
It was free for half a day and I was lucky to spot them while they were (I think it was Microsoft mistake
Its the Joker's Carnival brawl challenge (endurance see how long you can last) Penguin's iceberg lounge (endurance) and Batcave predator challenge.  The Batcave one is just stupid.  Huge open area with just 6 thugs so easy a blind fetus could do it asleep.

Yeah, Rockworm...the DLCs really didn't look too exciting even though I'm a big Tim Drake/Robin fan and the Chalange maps just sound like a bit of filler...gonna go for this without DLC...especially since I just heard back from my Bro & none of the hints landed! lol

Its great.  No it doesn't.  I think its a decent story and I never tried roleplaying it but I imagine you could.

To add to it.  Its Dungeons and Dragons so there's a lot of dice rolling in the background and TOOOOONS of character options (the character creation overwhelmes me every time I start a new game)

I kept forgetting to Post this yesterday due to my wild excitement about Arkham City being so cheap...but everyone should hop on Steam and join the Holiday Sale Group...it scores you a gift/prize just for joining...I have no intention of even visiting the Group, but it scored me a coupon and you could end up with a lump of coal or a Game with the prize randomization.

@Gibb: Rockworm hit it right on the head as far as NWN2 goes...it's a great Game that's completely based in the D&D rules, it's a classic!

I'd have to agree with Krusty's comment way up the page. The story of the official campaign is decent and roleplaying is an option.

Though the game really shines thanks to the Mask of The Betrayer expansion. This expansion alone is worth your money, it has an amazing story with plenty of decision making- Due to this detail, I dont think its possible not to roleplay the game at least a bit.

And the whole pack is 4.99$.....there is a special place in hell for people who dont buy it for that price, Dante forgot to mention that.

Oh and, great job Deathwurm! you're our steamly knight of sales in a world of darkness and regular prices.

Avadon: The Black Fortress is $2.49. I've played Avadon & I enjoyed it a lot. It has a Demo available, so if you like Old-School style RPG's I'd give it a try.

The Alien Breed Franchise is on Sale for 75% off

Torchlight is $3.74...I'd love to hear what folks who've played Torchlight think about it...it looks interesting.

All in all looks like a pretty nice selection of different styles today with a tilt towards RPGs...

Brink at 5 bucks... Even I can't scoff at that. I know all about the problems with the game but at 5 bucks might find something fun with it.
If I wasn't all out of money I'd be really looking at Divinity 2 (if I didn't already have it) also Limbo and eyeing Torchlight as well.
Oh well its highly unlikely I'll have dough to spend until after the holidays.

OK steam is being stupid right now.
Someone on the forums was willing to trade coal for a beta key to Tribes Ascend so of course i jump at that chance.
He links his steam account and tells me to PM me.
Message button flat out refuses to work for me.
I swear to god if I don't get this because steam is being stupid I'm going to do something I'll regret!!

 *pointless bump*Ok so that Tribes Ascend beta thing was a waste of time they shouldn't even be considering beta at this point.On a lighter note played more Super Metroid  Cave Story and no words to describe this.  I want this soundtrack on my Itunes.  And the boss battles are a blast.
Also played an hour of Psychonauts.  Amazing considering how old this game is its got more heart than most recent games.  Though I think they went a bit overboard with the item collecting lol.

Both VtM:B and TLJ are having super sales, one at about 15 and the other at 5, so definitely grabbing those on christmas eve. My dad's getting me a bundle of games off of GOG and steam, so it'll be a geektastic way to start off the new year.
