Thank you for taking me seriously, I was afraid I wouldn't be. As I am being serious, I'm also trying to make a point of how silly it was for them to do this just because most people are right handed.

Anyway, I mean, if I swing the controller toward my body, it's going to feel weird seeing Link swing away from his body and that might mix me up when everytime I want him to swing left, I swing the controller to the right and vice-versa.

Lol I'm bad at picking up sarcasm at the best of times even without the help of a computer screen and my own silliness.

I actually tried it left-handed and while it took a while to adjust I still had fun but I can understand that it can be too much effort when you just want to chill out and relax with a video game.

It wasn't sarcasm, I just wasn't sure your reply answered the real question I was trying to ask.

I still think it's silly that they'd make Link a righty because a majority of the population is as such and they didn't want them to feel awkward when using the Wii remote. Because then there are still people that might have a problem.

Thank you for your reply and I shall take it into consideration when deciding to purchase the game.

Since this seems to be the only appropriate place to put it, I recently found an incredible skyward sword fan art piece. None of it seems to be in spoiler territory, so I decided this might be a good place to showcase the work. Hope you enjoy the masterpiece. :)

Voila.

Most of the motion controls just don't work very good at all (at least for me). Sword swipes aren't very accurate and bird flying is just plain frustrating. Almost every time I use a gadget, I need to realign the cursor. And, at times, it seems like the controls are clunky.

It's an otherwise fantastic game, save for a few motion control hiccups.

I've managed to figure out the flying almost entirely...it's still mostly boring, but manageable. Sword combat...I can mostly get it, but it still misreads my jabs more than half the time. Trying to "hold my sword up in the air" is frustrating sometimes.

Basically, I've gotten to a point where the controls are manageable...and I actually want to keep playing. I'm loving the story so far, and the characterization of everyone is awesome. I just beat the 3rd temple and am inside the Temple of Time. The cutscene that just happened was AWESOME. Seriously, Link made me very happy.

Great game, liked the motion controls, and enjoyed the story, only one week later do I find out how to beat Demise...
