I think two item packs is enough. Considering the rather mediocre selection of items on offer in MotA (one of my few gripes with that DLC) it would be a nice gesture to save up the cool item ideas for whatever the next 'proper' DLC is. Really don't see why they always have to be seperate.

A full-length Expansion with all-new maps taking place in another Free Marches location would be too excellent, but I suppose Item DLCs are the more obvious choice.

I want an expansion so bad! But I'm afraid to get my hopes up. If not an expansion then I would prefer the story dlc with Flemeth and Morrigan to be next. I don't really care about item packs I'm content with what we have been given so far.

bioware really needs to start banning people who make missleading headers, when you state one as as fact when in reality it's a question just to lure in people it gets fairly annoying

I remember them saying that they want to release an item pack between every story dlc. I hope it's some companion appearance pack. Maybe even christmas themed, I don't care, but I want more companion armor.

More companion armor you say?
But I also remember hearing this... so I would imagine that there will be a third item pack soonish.

But did he say that, or did he say that they simply want to have "lighter" content interspersed with the story DLC (so it's not just "story, story, story, story")?

If that's the case, then something like those bonus items could very well be "lighter", instead of a full-on item pack, which requires at least three new outfits now (six if they got reamed too heavily for the last one), as well as another three chests stuck somewhere in poor Gamlen's hovel.

I think that Bioware know that there a plenty of new games either out recently or coming out soonish that aren't all from EA/Bioware etc, would they want to risk losing people to other games if they left it too long to bring out more content for DA2, i think they are waiting patiently for the right time to release more DLC (catch the market after the first rush of new games has quietened down). Another item pack would tide us all over but having already got the first two i am not sure i would want another. Just remember that Bioware has listened to us over repeated locations etc and implimented changes. Perhaps there will be news soon, perhaps in the new year of what is to come next.

item pack?? sorry this is stupid. instead of adding things to make the story better they are being lazy and adding useless item packs?? yep yep, this is very stupid. this just is simply another point indicating why the dragon age franchise is going to be going down the toilet

expansion... Expansion... EXPANSION!

If you think that works...

EXPANSION! EXPANSION! EXPANSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll joint the positive thought group...

EXPANSION! EXPANSION! EXPANSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really dont need or want another item pack. Yes the items were good and I bought them because not only did the armor look good but I wanted to support Bioware. However I am getting tired of spending 3-5 dollars for items that they could place in future story DLC. I really hope that they just focus on the future DLC or the expansion (if they are making one).

As far as DLC goes there will definitly be more. Bioware has said many times that Hawke's story will be wrapped up in future DLC. They are not going to leave that hanging. As far as the time range goes we can expect an announcement anytime. It has already been a longer wait then the one between Legacy's release and MoTA's announcement. My guess however is that they are waiting. With all the top tier games coming out since November gamers arent even thinking about DLC. Bioware is smart to wait and let all the excitement die down before they announce more for DA2. Another reason, and I hope this is true, could be that they are working on an expansion so they need more time. Either way I hope for an announcement this December but wouldnt be surprised if they stayed quite til after the holidays.

Oh and
EXPANSION, EXPANSION, EXPANSION!!!! XD

Everyone stay calm i'm sure we will hear something soon.

We're starting to get hits from Expansion/Ballooning fetishists thanks to Google.
