I for one never "glorified FemShep as a sex trophy" and I am a male who is playing a FemShep.

They put FemShep on the box because she is a great character. And both genders like having a female character who isn't your cookie cutter PRG fanservice female character. The fact that she is so popular (and seems to be more popular than MaleShep) is a direct result of that, it has nothing to do with her breasts. And don't you dare compare FemShep to DA2's Isabela! They are NOTHING alike.

Gosh not even that a**hole admiral in ME1 who wanted to inspect your ship when you returned to the Citadel ragged on Shep for being a woman, and that was about the only thing he didn't complain about.

correction: the fangirls on bsn (who make up around 90% of
the forum) play as femshep, however the sane average Joe plays manshep most
likely due to the voice actor not having an orgasm whenever speaking
