does this count?

"Truck!" (my sister was the one driving)

Did you then ask her if she was enjoying it?

Yes, I have told both my brothers that I was the Vanguard of their Destruction....
however, i failed to be as boss as Sovereign about it, they were not afraid.....

I was asked to speak at a conference of editors of college newspapers. My topic was "Ethics for Beginning Journalists." This was at the University of Central Arkansas, which is in Conway. As I recall, there were at least 50 students there.

I said one of the best description of the biggest ethical dilemma all journalists face was best captured in a line from a video game:

"The lines between good and evil blur when we're looking at people we know."

That, of course, comes from Garrus' loyalty mission.

You are going to meet thousands of people in this job, I said. You will like some. You will not like others. You will tend to want to believe the people you like and to dismiss people you don't. You will have to guard against that every single day of your professional life.

When my University Lecturer handed out notes to everyone in the class and I got my hands on a copy of them, I suddenly said in an unnaturally loud voice THIS LOOKS INTERESTING.

Anyhow, I've used "I should go" before.

My friend and I were talking about opinions and I think she had no idea I was a huge Mass Effect fan and she quoted Samara from ME2 when she says about "3 humans in a room, 7 opinions" to that extent. I laughed, she was surprised I knew about Mass Effect and embarrassed she tried that line.

I've used "Assuming direct control" numerous times when talking to users while remote connecting to their PC at work. Sadly,no one has caught the reference to date.

I've used a few.

"I've got a long list of people I didn't want to see, and your name's right at the top."
"I haven't been shot in the head nearly enough times for that to sound like a good idea."
"I've had enough of your snide insinuations/disingenuous assertions."

Surprisingly, I've never used "I should go."

You have to make this a flashmob. Rally some ME fans, tell them the story and then creep the bejeezus out of your friend Image IPB

"Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh. You touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding."

You'd be surprised how frequently I can work that into conversation.

I can't remember slipping them in to a conversation, but one time me and a friend went on a computer, on to the internet and just started saying harbinger quotes out loud to each other, lol.
