I've reinstalled NWN1 and now I need the updates. The launcher directs me to this url:

That url apparently no longer exists. How can I get my install updated? Also, I have SoU and HotU yet to install. I assumed I should install and update the base game first, then SoU, then HotU. If that's not right, please let me know.

EDIT: Oh, I just found this: files.bioware.com/neverwinternights/updates/windows/english/NWNEnglish1.69HotUUpdate.exe

Now I'm assuming I need to install NWN, SoU, HotU, and then the patch 1.69. That right?

Just the hotu version update, provided you have already installed sou and hotu, if not, then install those two updates, and then grab the hotu update to 1.69...

Running Win 7 64-bit Pro. I set up for XP SP3 compatibility, as it wouldn't launch without a compatibility tweak. Now I get the "Oops" window that tells me it can't detect my system settings. But If I hit "Continue", it seems to work OK anyway. At least that's my preliminary assessment. If there's any other incantations I need, let me know!

W7-64 is hit and miss. Some people have all kinds of problems, others have exactly zero.

I would advise reading Installing NWN1 on Win 7 /Vista. There are some other options in Win 7 that need to be addressed and may solve your issues.
