 while on pause can you assign abilities to different players like Kotor or mass effect on pc?
i mean you press R2 select a player , target an enemy go to abilities and when you select the
ability with x button the game unpauses. Can i order another player to do something diferent "like a shiled bash "
at the "pause"?

there's something like FFXIIs gambit system (forget it's name) I've not really played with it but it could help and from the looks of it unlike FFXII they only take over when that character isn't the one you have selected

ok i did not descride it so good. i ll rephrase it.

say that i am in a battle , can I :

press R2

select main charatcer to perform action x

select another party member to perform action y

select 3rd party memebr to perform action z

and THEN unpause?

or one action at a time? cause in the pc version you can do that.

I am trying to find out the same thing - have just started the game on ps3 (I also have it on pc) and am finding the console controls really awkward and confusing compared to pc. This particularly applies to the radial menu and the pause function.

Update: I think I found the answer on the xbox subforum (cedit to 'thirdjack'):

"2. You should be able to make more then ONE action during pause. Its really annyoing that pause is ended by selcting a spell or something else.
It should be like this: Activate pause, chose char, chose spell ect, select next char, chose spell and so on. And then deactivate pause and everything will happen simultameously.
Ok I know if you set the option to hold down the pause button, you can swap between chars, activate spells and then release the pause button, but I would love to see this feature for the open/close pause option as well.

Please Bioware, think about this little features for the XBOX/PS3 players... it would really improve the gameplay."

yes, open the radial menu and hold it open, scroll thru the choices you want and select an action, then press R1 (or L1) and select their action, and so on and so forth (note: only 1 command per person) and when you are done release the R2 button (or press R2 again, depends on your ps3 settings) and the game should resume play having all your team mates doing such actions ASAP

ehhh but when you select the actions , do you have to press abything or just highlight it and while highlighting it you press L1 R1... cause when you press the x button the game unpauses.

use the radial menu and KEEP HOLDING R2 FOREVER....then select the action...press l1 to switch characters until you do them all...after you select all then RELEASE R2 for them to preform it

yes thx i found out. but why when you chose to the "toggle open/close radial" otption this can't be done?

(i was playing the first 8 hours with this so i could not play proper haha)
