EDI: No, wasn't a joke. And yes: Samara and Zaeed seem to do "it" too. The only persons on this ship currently still on duty are: Shepard, John and Williams, Ashley.
Shepard: Fine. Someone has to save the galaxy while the Normandy turns more and more to a loveboat.
Ashley: Hey Skip. Do you mind if I show you something?
Shepard: Ash! Sure, why not.
Ashley: My personal weapons maybe?

I have always loved the idea of Thane and Samara.

I also ship Kasumi and Kaidan quite a bit. Kaidan has a lot of brains to be able to help Kasumi on her heists. Of course, he will probably only help out if she tells him it is for a noble cause

01. Jacob and Ashley (for the playthroughs she actually survived...and he isn't romanced)- I actually think they'd make a great couple, both are tough soldiers, Jacob doesn't seem to go for the flowery types (remember Shepard had to make her move to get him) and Ashley would definitely appreciate a good looking man that doesn't have baggage.

02. Garrus and Tali- I don't 'mance either one and I think they're meant for one another. Plus Garrus seemed to have a little crush on Tali in ME2, maybe it could happen?

03. Jacob and Kasumi- Kasumi likes Jacob already, so if he doesn't have Ash (or Shepard), he's set when it comes to Kasumi. Level headed, by the book Alliance-Cerberus soldier meets sticky fingered, sexy thief? Sounds like quite the love story!

04. Miranda and Jack- Not a big femslasher myself but I'd support this one just because it's so impossible (that I'd love for it to happen). The stuck-up Cerberus ice queen and the psychopathic convict/former test subject...complete with a fairly long cutscene of their budding romance/relationship. Or a hate fling.

05. Dr. Chakwas and Zaeed- I've seen it mentioned before, wouldn't mind it. Zaeed may be ugly as sin but imagine if he were quite the gentleman to her. Plus she needs love badly! Would hate to see an awesome old maid like her die alone.

06. Thane and Samara- Both adhere to a rigid code and are trained killers in different forms. They both have elegance, poise, and are equally awesome. One is dying and is trying to save his son while the other pretty much lost her daughters but tries to save them through their deaths. Would be tragedy and angst-filled but I think it would also be romantic.

07. Feron and Liara- When she's not stalking my Shepard (she doesn't seem to realize bigendered species sometimes DO have preferences...) I think the two of them would look cute together. He'd keep Liara's mind OFF Shepard (that way the little blue princess has her knight) and she'd...not be forever alone. Plus I kinda like the whole drell/asari coupling thing, I think it's rather cool :-)

08. Kolyat and Morinth- She's the bad girl that would lure him into a life of killing. She'd have feelings yet never consumate full-on intimacy since she knows it would kill him. I can see them going off on a lot of dastardly adventures that involve lots of assassinations and killing. Contest between them maybe?

09. Mouse and Emily Wong- Mouse is one of the few NPCs that doesn't gain much attention nor does he have a fanbase (since his role was small) but I liked him. He's not a bad looking guy plus he could have a future role. He was practically taken care of by Thane and knows the seedy underbelly and Emily Wong is naturally the curious reporter. A strange thought but I think it would be nice.

-Also a Mouse/Kolyat or Mouse/Vega slash would be interesting. One would be aiding the son of his father figure (they're probably about the same age so a relationship is possible) and the other would involve a soldier who knows next to nothing meeting a young man whose 'seen it all'.

10. Joker and EDI- Much as I hate Joker...the dynamics between him and EDI would be a win. She'd be his virtual housewife (complete with nagging, reminiscent of a comedy show).

Seriously, most of these pairings don't make any sense to me.  I think everyone on the Normandy shouldnt be hooking up.

Gianna Parasini is the only NPC worth spending time with - smart, tough and beautiful, got a real career, working class roots and high-class manners, droll and sarcastic sense of humor, enjoys puncturing inflated egos and guys who think the rules just don't apply (spectres excepted), a real relief from the we-gotta-save-the-galaxy-trillions-of-lives-are-stake hysterics.

She's too damn fine for anyone but Shepard, and she's what he's looking forward to when this is all over.

...besides, she hates skirts.

...and since no one on this thread feels the same, I guess we're an item...
