ROMANCING ALISTAIR: WHAT ENDING TO PICK? YOU CHOOSE...

What should be your response to Alistair after Goldanna? I mean, you say 'Everyone's out for themselves' just after you left her house, but what should you say when he talks to you about it later? When he says he thought about it and decided I was right. I picked 'About time now', is that correct response or not?
Secondly, I read somewhere the codex about Alistair actually mentions it if you harden him, is that true?
Thanks in advance

In the follow-up conversation, he'll stay hardened as long as you DON'T choose "No, that's not what I meant!" Choose anything but that and he'll be hardened.
He does mention it at some later points in the game. One of the most significant points for this is if you choose to speak with him at the Landsmeet just before you announce who will rule Ferelden.
PC: What do you think I should do?
Alistair: Make me king!
PC: You sound so certain.
Alistair: Shouldn't I be? You're the one who convinced me to look out for myself after meeting Goldanna.
He may also mention it during the pre-Dark Ritual conversation, depending on the dialogue choices you make.

The only one you shouln't pick is "That's not what I meant."
Edit: Meh, too late.

Of course, in the middle of all this I'd gone and done his family quest, even rescued Connor and saved everyone, got the conversation where he thanks me, and then we had the conversation where I hardened him. Then I broke things off with Leliana, and Alistair's approval rating was in the white above the last bar (I have no idea how you all can tell percentages), and I gave him his mother's amulet, and... nothing. He asks if I remembered him talking about it before, and the only options for response are "Are you saying something now" and "Let's not make more of it than it is". I went with the joke option, and he laughed and made a joke in return (that in truth seemed a bit angry underneath) and I only got a +5 increase, and no more options after that. His response whenever I talk to him is "Something on your mind?" and there are no options for further conversation.
Anyway, point is, I was unaware the romance option could be lost with him just like with Leliana. Is this correct? Or is it because I hardened him during the middle part maybe?
Zev, on the other hand, is always quite willing, bless him

I felt very awkward the first time through during this cut scene. I think this time through it's a little different. The first time I just kind of played through, this time I'm really attached to my character. I used a name I use frequently on message board RPG sites and I might even write up some fanfiction for her.
Can't wait to get through everything. Though, her relationship with Alistair is moving along much more quickly in this game. I've done Lothering and the first trip to Redcliffe, but nothing else and we're almost to the rose stage.
Quick question though.
Does taking the threesome option with Isabelle hurt your approval? As much as I hate sharing with Morrigan...I think part of that is because I got kicked to the curb. I saw a youtube video of the threesome encounter...and might want to try that out. *devil horns*

But I dont think so, not if you have "tuffen" him up. I know it does if you havent though.

and PS...can we please stop referring to it as "hardening" I'm apparently far too immature to deal with that terminology.

But my character is a true Lady.
Couldnt help but to do it anyway though, outside the storyline. Thats where the pics from
I would like for them to wait until there are actually married, but then Morrigan will be his first and I dont like that idea. They will come together the night after the landsmeet I think.
