Unsurprisingly, they seem to be the same lines he gets when you go after the Landsmeet and you've made him king. That whole "the game refusing to acknowledge non-King Alistair" thing.

Actually, I don't think it does. I've had DT in for a while, but I could have swore I still got the "I heard there was a new king" line from Goldanna even though Alistair was not, in fact, king.

Seems weird the lines wouldn't be there though - I could understand if it didn't change from pre-Landsmeet since he's still essentially royalty even if he's no longer eligible for the throne. Will someone sate my curiosity? Please?





Then again, maybe Goldanna is just slow on the uptake (I could buy that :-D ) and actually does think that Alistair is king even if he isn't.

My Alistair is not hardned and he has 100% approval (Love) for me, I was going to make Anora queen and get him to sleep with Morrigan so we get a happy ending. From reading this I am guessing it could work?

Well, as long as this thread is bumped up already, I'm going to answer a question two pages back. It's related to Mass Effect 2 so feel free to skip right over my post unless you want to be spoiled! Ye were warned!

I actually played Mass Effect 2 before I got Dragon Age. (Heh, I got Dragon Age to try and distract me from ME2.) I noticed that quite a few people prefered Kaidan to Alistair before ME2 came out, and I was just wondering if you still feel the same way. Garrus was the bro I really saw eye-to-eye with. I felt that his character "got" my character because they were so similiar. And then ... I heard about Kaidan basically being unavailable for ME2 and I was disappointed. It took them all this time to put out a sequel and I didn't want to wait what, another 2 years, just to see where that game would go in ME3. So I had intended to move on, but hadn't decided which new interest caught my eye. Cue Horizon. Cue Kaidan's cameo. He tells my character off and I ... was blown away by his intensity. He yelled because he cared. I already felt like my Shepard was a dick because the game wasn't allowing me to try to find him until that point and my character really was in the wrong (in his eyes) because of my Shepard 1) oh, hai, nice to see you and 2) I'm working for the bad guys now. When I read his apology email afterwards, I immediately knew that HE WAS IT. I didn't even bother to romance any of the new characters. (Garrus is really more of a best friend than lover for my Shepard.) I can't wait for ME3 to see how this all wraps up. There has to be some serious make-up sex coming then.

This one goes out to all the Alistair fans. Just got done watching the Darkspawn Chronicles video. You play as the darkspawn and kill all the Grey Wardens.



Last scene was very disturbing. Brining down your darkspawn blade on Alistair. Yikes!

Oh this Gilsa, THIS. I love the Kaidan/FemShep romance and totally get the reason for his anger. My Shep was broken too after Horizont but instead to think 'what a jerk' she tried to understand him, his anger, his fears and frustration in this moment became clear to her. He had lived years in the believe that his one true love was dead, weeped for her, stood on her grave...and then BAM she is there again, in full flesh and working for the organization he direly had fought against with her before.



It's like Alistair landmeet betrayal 2.0, pretty hard stuff to swallow. And then his email, I d'aaawed xD showing me how much he still cared for my Shep. Aside the fact that the romances in ME2 were crappy anyway (the priiiize) it wasn't really hard for her to stay faithful to such a man. Our waiting is better paying off with said make up sex then 8D

The first night is actually included in the CRS mod that you linked second. It's  found both on nexus and on this site. the First Night plays the first time, and for the consequent times you have your choice. It also includes tmp's love scenes. If you want it from the bioware site, it's also here:

The First Night and the hug are probably my favs.  I just loaded them last night, so I haven't had a chance to play them through that much.  I did pull up an older game and had my pc die. There's a cut scene that has Alistair holding you and saying the Warden's speach. IIt happens just after your pc kills archedemon. t's really quite touching. However, I don't know what mod it came from.

I would recommend downloading everything on the list, and then follow the instructions regarding the dlb and dlg files.

Mods rank high on the romantic scale while still remaining tasteful. Highly recommended!
