I was trying to save paragon points, but have to say that sometime I just want to cut loose and say something I would have probably said in reall life especially to the council. I try to say all the right things (nice and noble) when talking or interacting with Kaiden to keep romance going. Have to say that man is more noble than Alistair and much harder to please.

Makes no difference at all albout who you choose to be on your team in relation to leveling up. The only reason I eventually used all of them was to get the acheivements...if not for that I would have used Kaidan everytime...just to keep him close.

And I agree...the sidequests are much more thought out than the ones in DAO...even the ones you do out in the traverse get converstaion and acknowledgment from Admiral Hackett. The ones in DAO get a nod from the guy at the bar in Denerium or a thank you from the Blackstone guy etc...nothing too personal.

And this is the reason that he is so diplomatic...he's been trying ever since to prove that he's not some kind of monster since that's the way Rayna saw him.

You can turn him into an alien hating renegade if you want...I did that on one of my renegade run throughs because I just wanted to hear him tell me I did the right thing when I killed the queen at Noveria. I kept him the diplomat most of the time...I liked him being the nice guy I guess.

Just playing another runthru in DAO (Husband has other computer right now) and I'm choosing not to talk to Alistair unless I have to.  He is actually annoying me right now. Oh why couldn't there be more interaction in ME.
I hate how Alistair is so indecisive. DAO could of gave him a little backbone even unhardened.

I don't like him as much that way either. I like to keep him as sweet as possible. But it does work better when you're playing as a renegade because when he's diplomatic  he will always want you to do the right thing.

Yeah, Bioware has really stepped up the dialog since ME was released. I would have liked to have had more dialog with Kaidan too but I think the romantic scenes at the end more than make up for it...they were much better done than DAO's.

By the way when you get to Virmire...it's not a trick...some people on their first play through thought they would get the chance to save both people...you don't...make sure you save Kaidan...you'll understand when you get there.

I got this random encounter to come up and I did make it as queen.  You know, it'd be nice to see an achievement badge with a crown for making it to queen/king, instead of the Morrigan Ritual One, how about both!!! 

Ok, have to laugh too.  I'm on my second playthrough and I was going to play as a dwarf noble female.  I couldn't do it because you'd have to have sex with Al in this form.  Kinda grossed me out. I'll suck up the courage to do this another time, when I can stomach the idea.  ROFL!

He really enjoyed his playtime with Morrigan if you go that route.  Did you ladies notice he has a scare on the inside of this thigh?  I noticed, at least on my pc it was viewable.

:lol:I was wondering when someone was going to mention that. I did the dwarf origins(for the achievement and to see how the story went) but didn't go any further than completing the origin itself...I kept thinking how weird it would be to have sex with Alistair or even Zevran for that matter as a dwarf and I just couldn't go through with it.

I played Virmire twice.  The first time I picked Ashley so she could do something to clear her family name.  I was like, oh my gosh, she died, and I couldn't save them both.  The second time I tried the renegade option and said you don't get anybody.  No such luck. I really liked Ashley and her beliefs. They were similar to mine in real life. I went down to talk to my companions and she wasn't at station.  I felt the loss.

I totally just finished ME.  I loved it.  I hope we can still continue with Kaiden in ME2.  So I did the kiss scene several times as I thought I picked the wrong dialogue and was interrupted by Joker.  You have to wait till the very end for the love scene, but well worth it.  I think the romance dialogue was better if you chose the renegade speach.

The end.....first, I thought I died.  I didn't. And I also had thought I chose the wrong option.  I chose to Sovyrn. It was actually a great choice.  I really did hate that council.  I hung up on them so many times. And I chose Capt. Anderson for the council and played the renegade in the end and told them to deal with the politics I'm gonn'a go kick some ghet butt.

The only thing that could have been better...Was a followup to Shepherd and Kaiden now that they had a little time to kill.

And what's with the end of the love scene and Shepherd is looking down at Kaiden and joker comlinks them!?! He gets all business like and kills the mood and then tries to say be careful I care for you.

I actually wanted to try a couple of other endings but you can't save the end game and I want to keep it for ME2.

Oh, and side note, I did go to the Flux.  For the record, Kaiden dances like a Dork and femail Shepherd looked like a complete spazz.  She just has to get out a little more often, I think.

I have several different saves...I wanted to see where each one would go in ME2. As for continuing the romance with Kaidan in ME2...lot of controversy over that...According to spoilers you can't recruit any of your ME1 love interests in ME2 and the ME1 romance doesn't have a prominent(probably not using the right word here) place in ME2...however the word is that they kept the ME1 love interests from being recruitable so they wouldn't die this round because they want you to be able to keep the original ME1 love interest all the way through ME3. Good news is that we at least get to see him again.

They either gave Raphael Sbarge bad acting directions on that or they left the line out completely and had it recorded for some other part of the story and then inserted it there instead of calling him back in to read the line. They're a couple of other places where I thought his acting was somewhat off...at the end when Shepard is about to make the choice I took Liara and Kaidan....Liara talks in a normal voice and Kaidan practically yells your head off. It didn't mesh so well but overall I liked his voice for the part. It really sounds nice in the quiter more intimante moments with your femshep.

As an elf, the ending I chose to the Alistair romance was to revert to a level 1 save and romance Zev.

Alistair was just too painfully pitiful if I left him for Zev, but unwilling to commit to our relationship if I stayed. My Warden wanted a husband not a whimpering pup.

Thank you for saying this.  I was begining to think I was a real fruit for having a crush on Al.  My heart was crushed when I learned that he would dump me if I made him King.  It was like I was back in high school. 

If only our husbands would feed us lines like that.

I've replayed that line several times just to hear.  Also notice that his voice cracks with uncontained emotion?

So, how did your ending turn out.  I just started  my city elf quest and have made her a complete brat. Even killed the wounded soldier in the Korcari Wilds and received a -4 from Alistair.  However, it's been hard to resist Alistair.
