Raphel Sbarge is so sweet to do this for us! Too damn bad that wasn't actually put into the game. Sure makes a difference when you hear it vs just reading it. Anyways he is just a wonderful actor and shows how dedicated he is to his fan base.:innocent:
Happy Thanksgiving from Raphael Sbarge (Kaidan Alenko)

That was very well done and while I'm probably being hopelessly optimistic here, maybe I'll get a chance to hear Ashley's voice in a similar capacity.
Though after listening to this a question has risen in my mind:
"Why the hell did Bioware not put this audio file in the game in place of an email?"
Would it really have costed that much to hear the characters in their own voice explain their actions on Horizon? How much can a roughly two minute sound file cost?

This is precisely how it should have been done in-game. I doubt it would have cost them anything.

Okay, I don't play a Femshep, so this really meant nothing to me in terms of story. But Raphael Sbarge is clearly an absolute legend of a guy for doing this for his fans. Really nice to see someone go that extra mile. And it was a great performance, I mean obviously, guy's a professional voice actor, but then even pros sometimes just sound like they're phoning it in. And that was definitely not what this was, so kudos to him.

I guess BW did it on purpose, not having audio response from Kaidan and Ashley, 'cause that way we would not have the anger build up in many Shepards and going for another love interest. I mean, if we heard this in game itself... then the apology would really matter thus, less drama in ME3.

This was amazing and really well done!
If we can expect this level of performance in ME3 from Sbarge and the other VA's then I'm looking forward to playing it even more (if that's currently possible!).

Because it would've made the VS a little more sympathetic, and we simply cannot have that. Kaidan and Ashley are meant to be hated and mocked.V-rex wrote...

That was cool. Just seeing that screen somehow brings me back to that place. I love you, imagination.

Aww, so sweet of Mr. Sbarge to do this for Kaidan's fans. And wow what a performance, you really can hear the raw emotions, the struggling of Kaidan within his voice. I teared up a little for the sake of my F!Shep upon hearing this, really. I found the letter itself already...dunno... a mixture between sad, depressing and gratifying (because I understood Kaidan's Horizon reaction), but Sbarge's voice acting puts it to a whole new level. Wow.
I never had a single doubt on whether to carry the Kaidan romance on or not through ME2, because it felt the right thing to do. Now I know why.

shoot, that was great voice acting. You don't even need body language or context to get the kind of person Kaidan has become.

I agree, it was absolutely thoughtful and awesome for Sbarge to do this for Kaidan fans. And it's a masterful piece of voice acting to boot.

I'm glad that people are finally seeing a little more to Kaidan then just "Virmired, LOL" He's really a good character and matched with Sbarge, he's one of the best.

Really, well Bioware's little ploys usually tend to have the opposite effect on me anyways I'd probably still like him even if they turn him into one of the major villains of ME3 then again I went from slightly liking Tali in ME1 to disliking her in ME2.
