No, she's different, that is why her character is interesting. We've never had a straight-out mercenary as a companion. It'd be interesting to see why she might decide to join you.

And she seems to really love fighting, without being a Chaotic Evil moron. That would probably nicely balance out the other characters people suspect might be in the party (Cullen and Cassandra), who'd be more about duty. And Nyree knows Cassandra. Bonus!

Hm, I'm liking the idea more and more. She's an actual Reaver too, never had one as a companion either.

Templar, Shaeshifter, Bard, Assassin, Golem, Spirit Healer, Sten (the Qunari ranking), Berserker, Blood Mage, Tevinter Fugitive, Pirate, Exiled Prince, etc ... etc ... etc ...

We've had all of the above, but no Reaver ...

She seemed to flirt with the young keeper and Talis both. I know bioware has never done this, but maybe she should only be a romance to elves. Or make it difficult to romance her if your not an elf. Even in reality people often only go out with certain races of humans. If races were boarderline different species like in Dragon Age, I doubt that everyone be atracted to all races like our companions seemed to be. Once you go elf you don't go back!

We don't even know if you have to drink dragon's blood to become one. We just know that's how the cultists learned it.

Nyree said so herself, in DA: R. She drank the blood of a dragon to become a Reaver.
