The only thing that will be different are the graphics... It's the same game with the same control layout... If they say it blows for the ps3 (they are an idiot) and they're saying it also blows for the 360 and most likely for the PC...

Wow. Didn't seem to be anything wrong in those Gametrailer clips. The last video of the ps3 version I saw was lower resolution and I thought it was looking awful (relatively speaking). It's looking great.



As a pc nut (who confesses to a certain amount of schadenfraude on seeing that first clip!), I can't see much disappointment for ps3 players. I've had low framerates at certain points in my upgrade cycle before and I can't see a drop as low as to 20 fps being much of an issue, particularly on this kind of game.

This wouldn't be the first time a PS3 3rd party game was inferior to the same game on the 360.
And ffs fanboys I'm not saying the game is bad, but I'd rather trust a customer and no offence to the folks at Bioware but you are trying to sell us the game. Which I will buy when it comes out on November 19 In Australia!
This game is gonna be the best RPG this Gen, but the truth of the matter is it might be inferior to the 360 version. If you have both consoles it might be wise to get the 360 version.

except that Andreas Papathanasis just said that they both use the exact same textures ad everything so the graphics really aren't going to be different....way to just assume that though

Neogaf is trash they get way to much credit for just about everything....basicly the entire community is just trolls that put everything but Modern Warfare down....I have never read anything from that site that seemed reasonable more or less logical....they are just self indulgent gamers who act like their opinions on games matter because they know that in real life (their life not on the neogaf) their opinion doesn't matter at all as they sit in their mother's basement wishing they had more friends in real life and weren't such social rejects......

sorry that may seem mean but that is the way I feel about that lot

I have no idea what NeoGaf is. Yet the gameplay we have seen from the PS3 looks fine to me don't know what the problem is supposed to be...

my point being is that all of the video people have seen and repeatedly talked about would indicated otherwise....this one guy owns a website I and a lot of other posters have never even heard of is saying that it is junk....I don't understand how that is making it look like he is right......does he even list the type of games he likes to play regularly......maybe RPGs are not his cup of tea.....

Also making the point that the neogaf isn't known for having objective opinions and are largely considered biased.....so In my opinion anyone that posts on the neogaf is tainted, they can't be trusted because they fall into that group who thinks that being over critical and overly harsh towards games is somehow what the gaming community needs....

If  you think he may be right then I hope you are pleasently surprised when you pick up the game.......if it turns out you agree with him....sorry you wasted your money......

I don't really understad what you are looking for here, NoName McDoesn'tmatterton says it sucks, and everyone else says all the footage they have seen doesn't look like it sucks.....and yet all you can say is yeah but this one guy says it is trash and it is Biowares first game on the PS3 and the cards are stacked against Bioware.....so what dude...you either believe the people that are saying not to worry it is going to be great or your don't......this conversatoin is going nowhere fast

The guys played the game, 360 and Ps3 version...You haven't!
The guy owns the Ps3 game...you don't!
Footage on freaking GAMETRAILERS is NOT indicative of final quality!
The guys played the game ffs. Why should I be more inclined to believe people who haven't played the Ps3 version over someone who has?
I'm not even saying it will be a huge issue for me, but for some it will. Don't they deserve a word of caution?
If you guys want to believe everything a mouthpiece (no offence) tells you then fine by me. Just thought I'd give a warning to multiplatform owners that it might not be up to scratch.

Okay folks, I apologise for my first post the wording was a bit dickish, I get that now. But if your sensitive to frame rate drops get the 360 version cause AlphaSnake says the Ps3 version hovers below 30fps.
And  Kamenwat, Gamepro Germany docked a few points off the Ps3 version because of its perfomance. Make of that what you will. 
The Ps3 version will be good. near identical to the 360 ver. but not as good it seems. If you only have a Ps3, no reason not to get the game.

a ps3 is the only console i dont own. but i highly doubt bioware would move up the ps3 launch date if it wasnt up to snuff. heck they always push things back to make them better. not push junk up.

In the current issue of Play magazine they interviewed  Youske Hayashi of Team Ninja Producer of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2

The interviewer asked him the following question.
"How would you describe development on PS3? Being familiar with both next-gen platforms, is there anything you can do on PS3 that wouldn't be possible  on 360 or vice-versa?"
With regards to the PS3, Sony has been working hard, and the PS3 development enviroment has really come together. There is nothing diffcult or inconveniet or difficult with working on PS3 any more. Thats not to say Microsoft's support isn't great, but I get the impression that Sony is working extra hard for third parties lately. As far as comparing them...it really depends on the graphics or effects we're goin for in a particular game so there are no simple comparisons that can be made. I think both platforms are very interesting hardware.

Team Ninja makes some pretty darn good looking games.  Ninja Gaiden 2 sigma is a darn good looking game on the PS3.

My point is maybe the PS3 was hard to develop games for in the begining but from the sounds of it Sony has gone the extra mile to make it better to develop for.  Besides Bioware is very creative and smart bunch of fellows. So if anyone is smart enough to  get what they can out of the PS3 its Bioware.

Oh yeah and save judgements on if the PS3 version is terrible untill you actually get to play it!!!!!! Then make up your mind.

Wow this thread has gotten out of hand quick. I don't put NeoGaf on a pedestal that some may but I won't lie and say that the thread on there where this psxtreme fellow is posting isn't a wee bit depressing. That said, I've played several Bioware games over the years and I've never come away disappointed. Their games aren't always the prettiest but that's never been a priority for them nor was it for me as a consumer. Unless these alleged technical issues are so glaring as to completely ruin the gameplay I'll be enjoying this game on my ps3 come this Tuesday.

please stop listening to team ninja. They might be acclaimed as great developers but really what are they famous for? DOA and NG....that is basically it

and neither of them is a particularly remarkable franchise, although they both are rather good but hardles the non plus ultra some people hail them to be

besides remember Itagaki's words when he was devloping NG2? "Team ninja always developes for the best machine"

Seems to me a lot of petty bickering and assumptions about a version of a game that hasn't even shipped yet. I would think we should all just wait until we all have the game before we start a fight. If there are differences between the platforms, I suspect they will be so slight as to be negligible, and not all that big a deal.

Truthfully I don't think it will ruin the game for most. (Just a few)
I played KOTOR with an incredibly ****ty framerate. Regardless I still think this needed to be reported.

A smart desicion for a person in your position.  By then you will be able to enjoy the custom modded material should it prove easy to manipulate.

Yeah I don't know how long it will take me to build a PC plus, nothing wrong with double dipping the mods alone are worth it.
But still, Nov. 19 It's times like these i wish i lived In the US.
