who is still a fanboy? multi platform is the only way to go for a true gamer. else your gonna miss out on alot of good games because of some blind devotion to a single platform. i will be getting a ps3 soon enough. to complete my collection. unless ya just cant afford it, upgrade my pc for games like this and total war. ps's for mostly japanese games i cant get on the 360 (love koei), and my 360 for different genres i prefer on a console and some decent rpg exclusives. i couldnt miss out on so many great games, just to be an internet fanboy.

I bought both Xbox & the PS3 versions, and without a doubt the PS3 version is inferior. Frame rate is terribly choppy compared to the 360.

Anyway this can be fixed with a DLC patch?

Yeah, people saying you should trust Bioware QA unreservedly obviously hasn't played the 360 version of Mass Effect. The frame rate is terrible in combat and texture pops in seconds late. And KazuyaWright is just another gamer with the opinion that there are PS3 issues with DA:O. There are clearly reasons for doubts.

Looking at the gametrailer comparison, the PS3 version is choppy, but it is also choppy for the PC version (Even during non-battle scenes).... Must have used a pretty lousy PC. Of course PS3 gets trophy for worst fram rate but at least graphics is alright.

The PS3 version of the game is superior, in that they fixed a lot of the bugs present in the PC version. But its framerate is less than awesome, it lacks the tactical view, and it lacks screenshots.

How is the PS3 Version?

I have it on 360 and I have to say it runs pretty great. No major complaints :-)

My PS3 version has some major framerate issues during a few boss fights (I'm looking at you Broodmother) but otherwise is solid. I think the PC version would be much more fun from a tactical/pause button point of view, but its still the best RPG to date for the PS3, hands down.

Judging from the demo the best possible version BY FAAR is PC, 360 comes second and PS3 unfortunately is strolling far behind.
