What is the problem of having the same level of roleplay of ME1 again, at least in dialog options?
These are the only things I want back, nothing more. To not make our actions and choices irrelevant in the other games.
You must be joking.
ME1 had the most jarring roleplaying I've ever seen.
The characters didn't care and the dialogues were often three options with the same damn outcome and answer for all of them.
Judging by the script, ME3 is doing it infinitely better than ME1. Both when it comes to recognize Shepard's backgrounds and the past actions with the characters.
THAT is a good roleplaying.
Actually this is true. If you go through and play a paragon shepard and then play renegade...some responses are EXACTLY the same. It's almost like "well..why the hell does it matter what I choose then?"
ME2 actually had more diversity in the lines - maybe not roleplaying (even though I fail to understand what most people mean by "role playing game" there are so many opinions on the matter).
