Kai Leng is a joke to me. A re-imagining of Goku in Mass Effect. Can be disabled, but not killed. Honestly, if I don't get a satisfying method of killing that s.o.b. I'm going to be really ticked off.

The only character that's ever bothered me this much is Bella Swan. Do with that what you like.

It might as well show up that Kai Leng is an interesting character and a well written antagonist. What is amusing me is how OP is suddenly excited about it. But not like I mind.

I really hate the way GMagnum talks as well. Very annoying. Anyway, kai leng will be awesome. I just hope they don't mess up his character. And really Xeranx, what was the big deal about kai leng he was a bad ass character. Deal with it

Your hate for the game and dislike for those who actually like it is obvious. Now we can stop it less we get even further off topic before someone comes in and actually feels like arguing about this.

Hey I attempted to use it as a bit of a joke to explain a point. Others took the chance to bash the game (yet again) due to previous frustrations.

I always imagined him bald, I kinda imaged the bad guy from the first Iron Man, not Jeff Bridges, but the terrorist guy he betrays.

I too am really looking forward to meeting him in ME3.  I just hope they show us another side than the ultraxenophobic-killing machine one (granted that he has one). He reminds me a little of Severus Snape, who is one of my favourite characters in HP. Not because he is a very nice person (though he did sort of redeem himself in book seven) but because when he's around you know things are about to go down. Hopefully Leng will have the same effect in ME3.

Wild imagination you have there mate. Because I'm obviously running around insulting anyone who might have accitentially liked a game I didn't. Not by any means voicing my harsh opinion of the game itself. To be honest, there was this girl I really liked, but when I learned she liked Dragon Age 2 I burnt her house down and killed her dog. Due to previous frustrations obviously.

As someone before me posted, Yeah, I'm not sure about all this cyborgization shown in that picture. But it's months old and just a concept art I think... still, something tells me he might change into your average new-age badass with lasers shooting out of his palms. We'll see about that. He was shown decently in the book.

My problem is that Kai Leng was too bad ass for his own good.  The way I was understanding his character, he was so bad ass that (using the tired old meme) Chuck Norris would say, "that dude's way more bad ass than I am".  Bruce Lee would concur with Kai Leng's level of bad ass and be wary of him.  Steven Segal would actually have to lose in every single movie he made if Kai Leng was made to be his villain.

I don't like the way he was written, and I don't like him.  In the immortal, pithy words I've heard so much and you felt to repeat:

Deal with it.

I predict a certain poster will be incredibly pissed off about how underwhelming or generic Kai Leng will be due to prior expectations. DA2 effect here we come.

I was commenting on the hype people had for it and comparing it to yours. Then the game's eventual failings for living up to the hype somehow (in their minds) made it a terrible game instead of what it really was. A good game but not a great one like DAO. 

DA2 just shudda kept with the grey wardens a story about saving the world is better than a story of one town

no idea who he is but whenever his name gets brought up here it seems to perk some ears. i think kai leng should be used as a tool of the reapers. maybe indoctrinated and hunting down shepard. id have to say saren was an awesome antagonist. saren is my second fav mass effect character, following wrex.

Kai Leng *is* a joke. The fact that the writers have to rely on a badly written character, from a bunch of poorly written books to fill the void in ME3 is hilarious.

Saren will always be the best villain, because he was an original character. Created in the mind and brought to life by an awesome writer I can only assume. He bossed it up and was believable.

Realism is the problem I have with Kai Leng. He is so over-the-top it's stupid. I'm also upset because the game is going to auto-matically assume we've read those dreadful *novels* to understand why we're supposed to be scared of this guy.

Of course, all will be forgiven if I can just draw my pistol right after he says some presumably lame introduction speech, which will of course include some swearing to show how *cool* he is, and just shoot him straight in the face and kill him outright. Like in Indiana Jones. I would forgive Bioware for including lame characters from their side-line book series.

Having read the script though, this will not be the case.
